Boss kitten name, Joruman is the King beyond the wall if I’m not mistaken? Hope he’s a warrior, or a guardian at the very least. 9/10

My big manly Norn warrior’s name is Big Honey, though with all these authentic names I don’t think Im gonna get much love here :P

If he goes by a title and its Big Honey it could have many meanings so i don’t find it all that bad.

My Norn Guardian is Called Astrid úlfsdóttir which means fair and beautiful child of the wolf. Though im not the only one who uses that last name since my guild made our norns into a family they all have that name.

I like the name ^ Astrid Ulfsdóttir and how your guild coordinated that kinda cool lots of planning must have gone into that.

My norn warrior name is Ragnarr Ofriorson which means mighty warrior son of war.

I, uh, called my Mesmer’s called Hilda Cherrybomb, which I did try to justify with some half-thought backstory of managing to blow up an outhouse in a moment of drunken ale “science”. ¬_¬

I’m not really sure how to say the first name there (A-trah? or A.E-trah?) But either way it does have a very norn feel to it.

My male norn guardian goes by the name of Jorn Helmdeep. I like it.

10/10, because Jorn is actually a Norse name, so it fits perfectly.

Its a cool necromancer name, but not very Norn. I could see it as an Asuran or Human.

Aren Jorasson. Bit of backstory, he is the descendant of Jora.

Aren Jorasson seems to fit the Norn cultural naming conventions, I like it 8/10!

Drakathshier is a cool name, so points for that. Helen doesnt sound very Norn so I give it 7/10. Lokier the Sly is also cool, then sly part is cool so 8/10

It fits into the theme I guess, a lot of NPC norns use the “dottir” suffix, though I’ve never been a fan of that trope in games myself. I assume “Dani” is a hint to Daenerys from ASoIaF?

My main is called “Iroh Frostmane”, though I’ve been meaning to change it for quite some time. I want to get rid of the last name somehow. Atleast the “frost” part.

8/10, Nice name! really liked it, and no you should keep the frost it suits a Norn beautifully! But you lost them 2 marks with the ‘Iroh’, doesn’t really suit a norn since General Iroh was a human and doesn’t really sound Norn-ish!

I like primary names followed by a “descriptor” surname, dunno why, but I do. :p (8/10)

Bjorn Bloodstrike.

Pretty good, I think, 8/10, even if “Bloodstrike” does vaguely sound charr-ish. But then, I wouldn’t be surprised to find the charr and norn borrowing bits of each others’ cultures.

Anyways, I made a warrior named Sonya Jannadottir, She has no title as she has just started her career as a warrior.
Also just recently made a Guardian called Frejya Stormshield.

Sonya Jannadottir sounds pretty Norn to me, I give it a 8, Frejya Stormshield sounds quite good actually, I give a 9. I really like lore names.
Mine is a Norn Guardian called Sigurd Asbjornsson. Sigurd means in old Norse “Guardian of Victory”, and Asbjornsson means “Son of the Bear God”. And yeah, he is blessed by the Bear Spirit

Sigurd Asbjornsson. I really like that name. Not only does it sound cool, it’s very fitting lore-wise, and the fact that the name meaning fits the proffesion/spirit so prescisely is a very nice touch.

I’m terrible with scores but I’d give it a 9/10.

Now, my Norn Warrior goes by the name of Loken Brickfist.
Brickfist is of course not his real surname. It’s a nickname he’s earned over time because of his tendency to solve problems with them. (I tried to come up with a more creative backstory, but could not figure out anything good, so it will have to do for now.)

Lenisson is for “Lenin”, though the game didn’t allow me to wear that name (sigh) I just deleted the ‘n’.

Re-did my norn guardian. He is now named Eldgrim Greycloak. (Last name comes from The Elder Scrolls Nord clan/family names)

I like Eldgrim, its cool, Greycloak is a bit weird but after seeing everyone elses names, mine doesnt even come from the same culture….. 8/10

8/10 … it sticks with the traditional Viking style name… but I cannot consistently get that first name to sound pleasing lol.

9/10 for Sig Bjorn. I really like the meaning and it sounds not too shabby when you say it.

My first and only norn is a ranger, Rose The Immortal. I realize Rose may not be a typical norn name, but all my character share the name with differing last names.

My Fem Rangers name is Ótama Úlfdís, not sure if i should have added the little thingers over the letters, but it seemed to add some flare.

Had considered Ulfhildr instead of Ulfdis, she is still pretty low level so i could always remake her……anyway enough rambling, be gentle!

Otama doesn’t sound all that Nornish (or norse) to me, but Ulfdis is nice. Ulfhildr would be more of a first name I think (beautiful wolf if I’m not too mistaken) but also sounds right. 5 for the first name and 10 for the surname, I think.

I love the norns and have two:
Embla Rimgalder (ranger, though the surname means something like frost spells – I guess she has some magic roots :P)
Disa Rúndottir (guardian but again with a name that implies a bit of magic connection – which I guess she has since guardians are good healers… The ´ is only there to not make me think of the word run instead of rune…)
