Checkpoints
- Remove regular checkpoints and have the cloud ones instead.
- In conjunction with the previous suggestion, make the balloon locations less obvious.
- Add a time limit to the balloon before it deflates/pops
- Enemies can pop the balloon
Traps/Obstacles
- More tribulation clouds
- More time-related obstacles
- More jumping puzzles (i.e. the one at the end of W2Z3 which required precision)
- Puzzles that require critical thinking (like what’s in a lot of Zelda games)
- Traps that slow/cripple/etc
- Randomize trap locations (base this by instance, not have them constantly change as you attempt it)
Enemies/Flowers/Barrels
- Have these reset/respawn upon player death (no more sacrificing lives to clear them)
- Give them a basic pathing (can make this an obstacle by forcing players to avoid aggro)
- Increase aggro range
