For those who have purchase the shovel already. How effective is it? and what kind of “buried treasures” do you get from the digs? Is it worth the baubles?

It is super effective if you use it in a dig spot. You can get many baubles out of a dig. You can also spawn an attacker. Be careful.

It seems to work exactly the same as the normal shovel. You just have a 15% chance of getting 1 bauble instead of 10%.

I’m not sure if it increases the amount you get out of dig spots.

Once i get the nice scoop (will be soon) i’ll let you know if it boosts any dig spots, i know a few 50 bauble dig spots in World 2 i’m gonna be checking.

Dig spots seem to have the same yeild, but it occasionally digs up a 5-bauble bauble instead of a single bauble when you dig in random places.

(Plus, of course, it counts for the upgrade achievement)

Normal shovel has a 10% chance to dig baubles, can only find blue baubles, and has a 5 second cooldown.

Steel shovel has a 15% chance to dig baubles, can find both blue and green baubles, and has a 3 second cooldown.

You can get that much in less that 15 minutes in W1. Check a dig site guide if you don’t know them, you can get easy baubles really quick this way. For example W1Z3 starting area contain about 100 baubles.

It’s needed for the achievement.

I would buy it for the reduced cooldown alone.

It’s only worth it for the achievement in my opinion.
