IMO, Super Adventure Box>GW2
Oh look, someone trying to pass their opinion as fact.
Sylvari/Thief – WIP; Human/Necromancer – WIP
OK seriously, I’m a big fan of SAB too, but how about you wait until the nostalgia and initial excitement goes away.
Do you really expect SAB to be fun on your 5th, 6th playthrough?
After you have all your BB’s to afford the skins? After you find all the hidden zones and mazes?

I did SAB today, after 1 hour i quit. I like the game more than the adventure box, so what you are giving here is, just like me, an opinion.
If you don’t like the game, find something you do like.

Certainly (like any traditional platformer or Zelda/Metroidvania), once you have the entirety of the levels and secrets down to memorization and rote repeition, it won’t be particularly fun to keep playing.
That’s why the prospect of bringing it back with the additional Worlds and zones unlocked is so exciting. It’s a great minigame platform to build on.
That said the premise of this thread is ludicrous.
I’m just saying. There’s a major issue when you have more fun with a silly little mini game than the game itself. I’m not saying that SAB is a full game that would be better in long run that the full GW2 package but it is funny that GW2 has become so boring for most that the only fun they can get from the game is a silly little mini game.
The problem with this MMO is there just isn’t enough reward for playing and or investing time. This is why every other mmo has a gear treadmill. It gives people reward for their time and something to strive for or achieve within the game. This game is lacking that once you reach cap.

But the ‘’silly little minigame’’ IS the game? The ‘’silly little minigame’’ is fun, it makes Guild Wars 2 fun.
If nothing else, all the classes are balanced in SAB better than the real game.
It’s just stupid… If creators didnt waste time with miserable things like that, the game would me on much better level….
But… SAB is IN Guild Wars 2, so that makes Guild Wars 2 fun
i loooove the adventure box

No the problem is those other games that offer this cater to the “addict’s” of video games. you know they type that just HAVE to play x amount of hours each day and thus the game makers HAVE to provide enough gameplay for them to devour.
This is not the idea of GW2, the idea is that everything you are doing in the game right from the start is meant to be FUN. If you are not getting that fun and just need a FIX instead then sorry but it sounds like this is just not the game for you.
Play any random crap and you can easily find it fun for few hours. Just saying.
Indeed, GW2 needs an expansion but other than that it’s fine.
You need to think of GW2 as a hub for multiple activities. You can log on, maybe do some SAB platforming, maybe do some sPvP (which seriously if you have not tried sPvP you need to, it’s fun as kitten), maybe do a little WvW, maybe do a dungeon run, maybe some exploration, maybe level an alt, maybe get on to hunt down skins or do crafting, maybe you want to get on just to sit around and chat with guildies or do some costume brawling, maybe some jumping puzzles.
The core of GW2 is all of these things. If you like any of these features, then you like GW2 too.
It’s a medical condition, they say its terminal….
