It’s worth 50 baubles. It’s on the wiki.
When you get to the ramp leading to the long bridge on the last part of World 2-1, go to the right and all the way down and around til you reach the bottom, flat square. Dig in the middle and voila, purple Bauble worth 50.

Where’s the fun in telling you that? I gave a lot of secrets on unfinished locations in my other thread.
I am just confirming after hours of digging in out of the way, places that you run past, or areas that you would not even think of being able to get too, that the list mentions of what orbs you get in that zone.
Only the Black Orb is the only thing no one has discovered or has mentioned in this thread or Reddit (Until now) and you guys are just now finding the purple orbs.
Gotta leave some mystery for you guys to enjoy…

Whoops! You can’t walk in there? I must have scootched the wall a little bit fixing some other bug and created a new one. There is no invisible wall, for the record. It’s just that the character collision box is bigger than it looks because you’re scaled down to almost-asura sized.
And there is no black orb. But the purple in a shadow might look black?

It could be a graphics glitch, it did give the same amount as the purple orb.
By the way did you look at my updated bug thread.
Also there is a bug in World 2 zone 1 that allows me to go past the walls. I put a screen shot in the other thread.
Edit: Okay done. I’ll keep updating that thread, if I come by more bugs.

No problem, I just updated it again about the Frog King. However, I will probably will find more because now… I am interested in what I can find that is broken.
Also it seems that if you can’t pick up the purple bauble because you don’t have a whip you can no longer pick it up ever again.
The “has spawned” status will remain.
Correction: if you go back on the original character that had the bauble spawn you can spawn it again, and if you have the whip you can collect it. It will then spawn for other characters as well.

Where is the Purple Bauble in World 2 Zone 1? I’ve been to a hidden section just right after the last falling bridge before you go up the ramp to the thin bridge. I made a jump to the right, jump on top a ledge, found a still pond with a waterfall, jumped on more ledges, dug everywhere and found absolutely nothing.
Also in World 1 Zone 2, that Purple Bauble found above the trees that requires you to use your whip does not appear anymore.

Not sure why you revived this thread its quite dead. However I’ve all lost interest in SAB and alot of changes in small patches or secret hotfixes have gone out and many baubles that were posted by me or other players or those that we kept secret to our selves have been removed or changed.
Some of us had found ways to really go out of our way to get to areas that arn’t possible and due to recent changes are not even possible anymore.
One of the theories my group came up with is that with the new speed run videos of World 1 zone 2 getting 350 bubbles every 4 minutes or so, stuff like this for an “Easter Egg” are things not worth doing.
Another theory is that just like “Mad King Tower” you could get extra candy from chest while jumping up, so was the extra baubles and extra purple baubles for the release of “Hard Mode” when those areas can be accessible.
The removed or missing baubles may return or it may not. However I understand why Josh removed some of them, just so to keep SAB fun towards the beginning levels (Worlds/Zones) without creating the need to find them for mandatory purposes.
Now going to your question, I have not been playing GW2 lately being burnt out from SAB and been playing Facebook game: Farm Ville 2 (Laughable I know but the game is addicting. Maybe something for future housing in home instances hint hint); but going back to your question. I am too lazy to go back and check if those baubles are there. What I can say for a spoil is World 2 zone 1.
In World 2 zone 1 the purple bauble that I am pretty sure that has not been removed (Until World 2 is completed late May or early May, depending when the team is ahead of schedule for “Frost and Flame” patch) is located right before the Ninja bridge under a cliff below the ninja bridge.
Now as for World 1 Zone 2, I there are two known baubles which I can share that has been hosted on this forum already.
One purple bubble is located in the water behind a leaf, the area with the Lilly pads you have to jump on. The area with turtles.
The other one is at the Third Check Point (Also shown in the screen shot) where you have to do some wall jumping. This bauble is close near the two red baubles.
Now as for the screen shots, I know they are old but towards the beginning it was rude to share secrets as that was considered cheating however now after so long. its safe to share some secrets but since some baubles were removed, no point sharing the other secrets me and my group has kept since they are removed.

Just to be clear, I have lost interest in SAB, for now, but still am awaiting for the rest of the worlds and gladly jump back on GW2 to play SAB again.

Thanks for your response. I’ve been playing SAB everyday since it’s been release collecting as much BB as possible before it ends. I’ve been trying to find all the dig spots you found but it has led me to frustration and joy in some occasions. One purple I found in World 1 Zone 3 was located on the left ledges in the frog boss room. Getting up there requires launching from the checkpoint. I also tried jumping from the right side and was able to make it to the end of the wall but I wasn’t able to jump on top the mushrooms to reach the frogs.
I did went to that spot where you claimed that there’s a purple bauble in World 1 Zone 2 near Checkpoint 3 and wasn’t able to dig up anything. I assume this was taken out.
I don’t know why the decision was made to remove these baubles.

I don’t think any have been removed.
Some of the dig spots require you to face a certain direction when you dig, so you might have just missed it.

We did not change any Bauble locations. The digging is more finicky than I like. I’ll be looking into why.
Well from my experience it seems like when you dig it detects the baubles in a cone from your character. I know when I first started I would always try to dig directly on top of it and it wouldn’t always work but ever since I started making sure the spot was in front of me I haven’t had any problems.
Friends and i trying to get every bauble for the achievement.
we found it in a little corner high up in zone 2 check point 2-3
we dug and it popped upit was unreachable due to a invisible wall. how many bauble things do you think its worth? i couldn’t find anything on the purple bauble but i wanted it so badly i almost cried when it disappeared.

Ive took it before you can get it with the whip(stun skill)
