I support this.
I’m at least partly in this for the story.
I like to solve some of the mystery myself. I do really appreciate the additional information and guidance after the early chapters of F&F left so many players clueless, but any information displayed in game early should come with a spoiler warning… or at the appropriate time

Agreed.
I think they were trying to make sure everyone knew what to expect and what content would be added, but they really didn’t need to give away the storyline to do it.
IMO they got it exactly right at Wintersday. We knew there would be 6 versions of the same 5-man dungeon, we knew the dates, times and places each one would be made available. We even knew the final one was something called Toypocalypse. But we didn’t know the storyline, we had no idea who/what we’d be fighting.
It worked for everyone I think. People knew the type of content and where/when to find it but those who care about the storyline weren’t slapped with massive spoilers giving it all away right from the start.
