If Crab Toss gave a free level 80 character of any profession and race, that would give people another additional reason.

Here’s what I heard in this exchange:

OP – “If I had a free bicycle tire innertube, I’d bike more.”
Response – “If I had a free Harley, I’d bike more too.”

I can think of many logical reasons for ANet to not give me a free profession change OR a Harley but I can’t really think of a good reason why Southsun Punch wouldn’t count towards “drinks consumed”.

It’s not like people will magically get the achievement out of nowhere, Southsun Punch is still limited in supply. But it could have been an additional motivation to play Crab Toss for a little longer / a few more times.

PS: heroes’ elixir bottles are free, too.
