What is this used for? It’s a rare key that says it opens up chests and whatnot..but haven’t seen any chests. Is it 1 time use?

No clue on where to use, but interesting wording. Maybe a hidden area?

But another thing on that GW2DB site, its listed under the “Trophies” category, among other trophies are items to throw into the Mystic Forge, so it could be used in a MF recipe. (all speculation at this point from me at work :P )

Maybe part of the upcoming precursor scavenger hunt?

There is a chest in the middle of Driftglass, it is invisible but it has collision, still u can’t open.

This it has me so intrigued. Op, hold on to that key for dear life. Might end up being a huge item. Love the mystery.

Rebound, could you put it in the Mystic Forge a couple of times, see if other items light up with it? I wouldn’t recommend actually crafting anything yet though until more have been found

Well… Have been a long time that Anet abandoned the starter concept of a “Surprising game” (Dang, when I started to play , I’ve started with an asura, have so many "Secretes thing at all places. Just like the crystal in metrica province, or the key to the Steam Ogre).

Maybe they have added some new secret in southsun update (That by the way.. Finally would get any logic in “Secret” of southsun). Try looking in the spot where the consortium Ship blowed int the epilogue of the arc.
