Transmuting my ascended Sclerite Karka Shell
Hello? Am I being seen or did I click something. I never get responses much these days.
When you upgrade an item to ascended level after the transmution, you will loose your skin.
If you just want to put an infusion into the empty slot, then you can do that whenever you want, either before or after the transmution.
Transmuting items makes them soulbound unless it’s onto a white item with no slotted gems/infusion, in this case it is not so it will become soulbound.
Hope that clears stuff up.
PS, what does the disable textile option in the forum mean? THX
Textile formats your text. When you put a word in * for example, it will be written bold… like this: test
If you disable textile, you can see the * and the word which is written between them. It will not be formatted by Textile.
You will still be able to put an infusion in infusion slot. Infusing item itself (for the builtin +5 AR bonus) will be impossible, because Karka Shell doesn’t have that option in the first place.
Remember, remember, 15th of November
Thanks guys, so in your opinion, would you rather be looking at the quiver, or that ugly slimy set of arms?
And disabling textile just shows the code and not the attempt at making some funky bold text by accident if you mean to use an asterix but it went wackadoodle?

Sounds like you’ve already made up your mind about this one.. the use of “ugly” is a little bit leading.
I think it’s a case of “to each their own”. The popularity of the sclerite karka shell backpack, and how it is paired with other gear/a character’s concept really determines how these things go. A big-kitten char guardian in platemail and a greatsword looks pretty ridiculous whether he’s carrying a quiver or a karka shell backpiece… to each their own.
TL;DR – trust your own judgment. Don’t rely on the approval of (not-even-fully-informed) others.
