I haven’t been paying much attention but I thought they were all under 100 gold.

I’m not gonna ask someone to loan me the gold to get it then pay them back cause no one will, and making the 300 gold to pay them back is gonna take a while.
If i’m lucky, I can maybe get it.. in a month.

I dunno, a couple people who ran the Scarlet Invasions managed to make a fair amount of gold over a few hours. Not to mention the champion loot involved can include cores and lodestones for fattening your wallet.

Sell some T6 mats, farm some champs, play the game….if you get demotivated because they stopped you from repeating a single thing over and over and over and over and over and over….well I’m sorry, that is a sad state you are in.
And we all know Precursors should be so kitten easy to get, I mean, they may as well just mail them to us each month right?
I surely hope THIS isn’t what Anet is catering to, this type of entitlement, this type of gamer.

Really? Than you have not been looking for a long time since dusk and dawn have been over 100 gold since September. They are about 600-700 now. Most are between 200-500.
Twilight and Sunrise are the super shiny ones everyone seems to want to get a hold of, so it makes sense why them in particular are more expensive, the market is set by people so…the more people want something, the more it will be.

No I probably haven’t. Fluff cosmetic items don’t really interest me that much. Somebody somewhere is going to sell something unnecessary in a game for ridiculous amounts of money, doesn’t mean you need to buy it.

No money from any of the bags.
I did Deadeye with 3 gambits, got 4 bags… no reward.
So, you basically are only losing money now since you can’t make the money back to afford more quantlet tickets!
And what also sucks is I can’t Zerg Destroyers… since when I entered the pavilion… it was just me and one other!
I have to wait on enough players to beat the content, and enough of them then to want to run a zerg on destroyers!

totally lame. at least make the rewards so that they’re break even plus a little bit.
or… even better, change the bosses that are too easy to kill. the QG was at least challenging.. this new stuff is just spamming 1 with the zerg (IMHO)
You should change the misleading title to Queen’s Gauntlet Gold Nerfed. Otherwise, people will think they made the Queen’s Gauntlet easier which is obviously not the case.
I must admit that the profit offered by gauntlet farming was pretty insane and required some kind of nerf. ANet decided to just destroy it completely.
I guess zerging is the official way to farm this days. Congratulations to those who like it.

I do think they did nerf it in some places.
I only did Deadeye but I noticed he didn’t do his charged shot as often, and both times I fought him once he teleported to another spot, he ran right to me!

Uh… Of course? The farm that was the “only thing you could do” was done by a lot of other people as well. All that gold being introduced into the economy, plus all the issues witht the Orr exploiters and etc, would of course cause some degree of inflation, so things like precursors would rise in price.
You should be happy the Gauntlet has been nerfed. Unless the farms that give more gold than anything else are farmed, your precursors are going to hit 1.000 gold.

So bascially they changed him (and hopefull others like Liadri as well) to be done more easily as a casual player? That ’s great for everyone who missed it out – and to be honest even if I have 4.000 sprockets left and would ’ve liked to farm him a little bit more that change is OK.
It ’s like forcing your child outside the house, they hate it at first, but hate it even more after that and curse you. But maybe – oh nevermind – they still blame you even after making good experiences otherwhise.
But that ’s what ’s being a parent (or a Game Master) is all about …
