Twisted Watchwork Shoulders are an amazing piece of armor, I could think of MANY things this armor could be if it was a full set!

Why did you only add one piece of armor to this whole invasion world event?

You could of made a set of this cybernetic armor, it would of been amazing and had players playing for days and hours if you had a small chance to get each piece and then made the event permanent, I would do it just for the armor if it showed body parts being turned metal and such. (I LOVE CYBORGS!)

I literally did my first invasion event, got my shoulders and now I have no reason at all to do the story anymore…. However if you put the reward at the end I wouldn’t like that either because I have to do 1000 things to get 1 thing.

I’m begging you, add the rest of this beautiful armor set to the game and make them drop from the end of invasions!

I hate the new shoulders appearance because it lacks the rest of the armor, I like how they look however.

It looks like cybernetic armor, however it is the only piece of the set that doesn’t matter.

I wanna see cybernetic limbs and arms and even chests where you can see through the guys body and see the metal parts. Actual Cybernetics.

It’s not like the Asura couldn’t pull that one off. They’re already capable of mind-to-machinery interfacing, as it is.

Yeah. I don’t really like it either.
Not a fan of one side only shoulder pieces, and not even sure what this new one is supposed to shaped like. I got one from doing enough of the map events, and was excited to see how cool it was gonna be, and then bam, an ugly one sided shoulder piece.

The shoulder piece is extremely underwhelming.

yes, I’ve been wanting cybernetic armor in another game for a long time… \

Come on it would be fun to do invasions for a chance to get pieces, even if you get the same piece over/over it would at least keep me engaged for awile.

I think the shoulder skin works as a nice alternate piece to the Aetherblade heavy armor set, at least when worn on a female human.

They’re alright, but like Daecollo said, it’s hard to find a matching set for them.

Almost done getting the gloves and I’m thinking of using an Aetherblade helmet to finish the set off.

If the rest is just as ….. well no don’t really want the rest mainly because this has the look of heavy armor. I already have enough decent looking heavy armor, at least for human(some of the same sets look terrible on a Norn because the artist decide the legging should look like a barrel). If it was hinting more at a medium set on the other hand I would be interested. I assume a cybernetic medium would not involve another coat. -_-

Oh right, keep in mind that my picture is of light armor.

I’m really getting sick of these generic one off armor pieces that look the same regardless of armor type. We need more light, medium, heavy specific armor sets that AREN’T gem store items.

I’ve mentioned this before. The Living Story rewards are so underwhelming. All we ever get is a one-piece gear item, or some back-piece and a mini.

Where are all the full sets for Living Story content? Or are those for crafting & dungeons only? Kind of sucks if it is.

Living Story is eventually replacing old world content, but not rewarding it in the same way. :/

I just want unique armor from the event, giving me incentive to actually do the event.

Make a full set of armor, make each piece have a 2.5-5% chance to drop and I would farm for hours, days even PLAYING YOUR GAME just for a unique appearance.

Currently: I got my one piece of armor that is probably the worst part of the set that is only 1 shoulder as usual (not two .. cosmetically unappealing..)

I don’t care about achievements or anything, I just want more story and items.

I already have a sort of industrial looking vibe to my set and someone a few days ago actually whispered me about my “cybernetic” set. Aeitherblade shoulders + gloves, jetpack and the greatsaw for exhaust pipes.

Yeah, but imagine a chestplate where half your chest is machine and you can see right through it? No breasts or only one because you got blown up?

I didn’t mind the twisted shoulder skin… until my friend said that it looked like a cybernetic shoulder parrot. He really doesn’t like them…. but since that moment, I’ve loved them.

I am already running around with the zephyr rucksack for the Toucan and runes of the pirate for the Parrot, and now my magic find “pirate themed” outfit is complete with a robot shoulder parrot. <3

I would support the addition of more “twisted” armour parts. I don’t think I’d ever go “full cyborg” but I love to mix & match so much; I think individual parts combined with other armour parts could lead to some exciting combinations.

So… yeah. +1

Edit PS: I also have a deep-rooted love for asymmetric shoulder skins, probably from my history of playing archers in other games.

As an aside, i’m always amused when people complain about asymmetrical armor in the context of “real armor”. In real life, there’s been tons of asymmetrical armor for reasons as varied as archery and jousting.
