Here’s which ones I did:

Harathi Hinterlands: done 4 times
Gendarran Fields: done 3 times
Lornar’s pass: done 3 times
Mount Maelstrom: done 2 times
Dredgehaunt Cliffs: done 4 times
Sparkfly Fen: done 5 times
Bloodtide Coast: done 4 times
Fireheart Rise: done 4 times
Timberline Falls: done 2 times
Fields of ruin: done 2 times
Frostgorge Sound: 2 times
Blazeridge Steppes: 3 times
Iron Marches: done 1 times, did it just now, this was my last onem

That’s 13.

Now, I did all of them on my Warrior, except Iron Marches. I did Iron Marches on my Mesmer.

I AFK’d more than half of them on my Warrior.

I AFK’d Iron Marches on my Mesmer.

I got the other 12, but I think Iron Marches didn’t register. Do I need to do all of them on my Warrior?

Oh, and with my Mesmer, I didn’t kill any monsters, such a steamwork or pirates or anything, I watched TV while it AFK’s.

Do I need to kill stuff for it to register?

It took me 4 days to for Iron Marches to be in the rotation. This is really inconvenient.

We really need a fix for this. The achievement is so buggy that no one can tell which ones they’ve done. God, someone out there, please give us an achievement tracker….

Yes you have to kill stuff for it to count…

That’s why you join a party, so that if you get disconnected, when you reconnect you can right click on one of their names and click ‘’join in overflow’’ or wherever you were before. It’s the only way to get back in after a disconnect and get credit

then how come about 6 of them progressed when i didn’t kill a single thing, i just zoned in and watched tv and they all progressed?

I’m surprised no one has gotten into this thread yelling/talking down at you for taking a spot someone who wanted to complete the event actively could have taken. I guess if you had said you were farming and not getting the achievements they’d be jumping down your throat with guns blazing.

i had no idea whichone I was missing until i did the Bloodtide coast for the 3rd time and the achievement popped up. Apparently that map bugs out.

You’ve got a lot of balls admitting to doing the events afk. I respect your conviction that it ain’t no thang.

Technically you aren’t doing the events if you are AFK. Hahaaaa! Win.

Also stuck here. Specifically kept a list of zones so that I would know which ones I’ve completed, but even though I just finished the list today looks like one of the ones I did didn’t actually count for the 13… they really do need to update the achievement so you know which ones you’re missing.

I’ve done all 13 maps but i’m at 12/13. I haven’t d/c’d during any of the events. I’m guessing I have to re-do harathi or genddaran but that isn’t happening anytime soon because i’ve only seen those maps once over 25hrs

Oh I don’t need to anymore. As I’ve allways know, Iron Marches was the last one. And when I did it for the 3rd time, this day today, it progressed to 13/13.

I guess all you gotta do is repeat the same maps 2 or 3 times and you’ll surely advance.

I don’t know why it didn’t count the first time…

Actually no, it’s not your game. You paid for the right to participate in Arenanet’s game. This is not a single-player game which you own after purchasing.

It sounds like OP actually IS participating by doing one event and going AFK. If everyone did this and the invasion failed, it still counts towards you completion.

OP, and everyone else purchased their own copy of the game, so they can ‘participate’ in it any way they like which does NOT involve cheating, hacking, or exploiting. I don’t see what OP, and many others in that situation are doing wrong.

I’m not contesting that. I’m just stating that it’s not his game. He can’t do whatever he wants in it. He has to abide by the rules set by Arenanet while playing their game.

Because of people like the OP. This is why I go farm aether pirates champs instead of meta event.

exactly in which part its said that you are forced to play during the 45 mins that last the event per map just to complete a bug that dont allows you to progress this achievement?
