I lost count of how many times i’ve been disconnected from the server during a story instance after killing dozens upon dozens of mobs.

It makes me not even want to log in knowing I have to do it all over again.

The only time I have ever lost connection is during these solo instances.

This is not normal. Do you disconnect from the internet or just GW servers?

It drops me to the character select screen. Says something about losing connection to the server. I can log right back in but I’m outside the instance and have to do the whole thing over.

I’m guessing the solo instances are on their own server? Maybe they need beefed up.

It really makes me not want to play. Each time it happens I stay off the game for days.

No, the instances are run on your computer, but regardless it shouldn’t disconnect you on JUST STORY missions. I suggest you hold off misions and try with another computer or different internet line.
