Orders rendered useless after personal story
Im all whispers, and Im finding tons of NPC’s who I say “I blank the unblank” too and they reveal themselves as agents and tell you more info. On my one priory they never do this, so joining the orders does affect NPC dialogue.
The thing is that your order has merged with the others into the pact now. I also think that adding (more) order limited content now would make a lot of people annoyed cause they never had a change to use that info in their decission.
Arise, opressed of Tyria!
It would be nice if they worked in specific Order missions in events like SouthSun and future events, so joining them extents beyond the personal story.
I agree wholeheartedly
Just because we are in the Pact doesn’t exempt the possibility of “in house” problems within each Order we could fix.
I think the biggest reason this happens is because once the pact is formed, you become Commander of the entire Pact.
What they should have done, instead, was made you commander of the pact within your specific order. Like, if you’re in the Durmand Priory, you take the place of Wynett as the commander of the Priory within the pact.
Then they could have given you more missions that dealt with issues your individual order would be specialized to deal with rather than just the same missions no matter what.
Awesome idea. Would love to have more interactions with members of the chosen order, as some interesting characters are only met once or twice and discarded. Be great if we’re able to climb our “cooperate ladder” and get to know the leadership on missions and such (*cough charm of Skyrim). And have some inter-order relations with other players for jolly cooperation.
The hell with the pact, times at spent with the orders were much more fun for me. It’s adventurous and new (investigations, aiding other species, political assignments), instead of having the same – we’re under attack by the undead – themed lead by none other than our favorite hero Trahearne.
