Deaths Fear [Fear] / The Hardcore Caravan [HC]
Forum Warrior: Black Belt in Ninja Edits
Mine is unpredictable coz the icon looks like mesmer masks.
How sad it is that not even the developer’s care.
My main’s personality is 100% charm. My alt’s is 100% dignity.
What’s the point? Devs?
Yea I wish it would hold some sort of significance, like how NPCs interact with you or something… They should make it matter. I mean I don’t really connect with my character’s default personality that I feel like it’s not personal at all. Usually moral alignments in game are very important. They decide how your character grows in skill, aesthetics, etc. I wish our personality choice will reflect who we really are.

It does make a difference: some NPCs treat you differently because of it.
I spent a bit of time wondering why two characters in a party together had different dialog options, before working out that my “Barbaric” warrior was teamed with a much more peaceful person. We probably caught this only because our computers are side-by-side, though, and we could look over each other’s shoulders at the options.
The world responds slightly differently to you depending on how your character’s history shows you tend to deal with things. It’s one of the reasons you can get a noticeably different experience of the game from starting a new character.

My character has 100% ferocity and 0% character. It is just a boring blank slate. There is no personality. I wish it was different.
My main character has 100 % Charm and my alts have mixed personalities
I think this is to add RP elements and immersiveness to the game. Or they just made this as a base for future updates that might change the way personality systems work.
I don’t really know for sure, but I am just being optimistic about it. Also, I would love to see differences in voice dialogue depending on the personality of the character.
Err … my main one is entirely charm-based, but she’s about as charming as a stone lizard!
100% wooden plank.
I play a Sylvari female, so it’s easy for me to imagine that my character is really Commander Shephard and goes around punching annoying NPCs in the face.

All my toons are blank drones with prerecorded “personalites.”
It does make a difference: some NPCs treat you differently because of it.
While it’s a nice touch, it’s a little absurd that the story mode, the part of the game that is supposed to be a RPG, is totally agnostic to your character’s personality. If the expansion expands on the personal story, I hope it will hold your character’s personality into account, even if it means that we have less choices to make.
I started off Scoundrel, but by the time the Pact entered Orr, it turned into Diplomatic. XD
My hawt, handsome devil sylvari elementalist turned out to be a wimp, my scaredy cat warrior turned out to be very very high self-esteemed princess, my dark apathetic necromancer became a high aristocrat savior hero.
… I hate the storyline. I wish they had kept the character lines void or given different choices for voice acting. The voice acting has good quality, but what do I do with quality when it’s not serving purpose at all? As for NPC’s, pretty much everyone loves my characters and sends them coins when I finish a quest.
On a sidenote, I think choosing ferocity/charisma/dignity also affects how your characters say their storylines. It’s very, very small, but I’m pretty sure it’s there.
Unpredictable
33% of each.
100% Noble. For a while my Necromancer was Diplomatic, but that seemed a little bit too – acceptable.
My street rat Elementalist is a Scoundrel, my guardian is Diplomatic, my Warrior who was born and raised under the long siege of Ebonhawke is Militant and my Mesmer is captivating
Militant here then again like it really matters. Your personality in this game doesn’t mean a cholerny thing. You will always act like a adolescent teenager with the same carebear defiant attitude, with Trahearne being your babysitter.

My character doesn’t have a story. He just serves as a filler for the PS dialogue scenes.
