Would it be so hard to write a patch that says,

Let TxBox$ = X

If Left$(4, X)=“wwww” then MoveFocus from Chat to Screen.

Really I dont know your Programing language and of course the patch would be client side. but I know Im not the only person who finds thier toon Paralyzed because the input is trapped in chat. Look this is like 5 lines of code but Im sure it would really help please consider this small change.

It’s a very simple patch that would save alot of us a trip to the Rez Shrine/WP in the heat of battle it need not be personal at all. Pls do consider it if you (the Devs) see this thread. C.

I support the OP’s idea. Spamming any key (be it w or 1 or whatever) should cancel chat mode. Why the heck not?

I actually prefer the “wwww” to be in chat, so when I die, I can blame my chat window.
