It could be done, the system is already there, the “bundle” system.
Wont even take a lot of work since each race has their own holding animation and all thats needed is to retrofit the mini onto the holding pose

HAHAHA, that would actually be kinda awesome, would however take a LOT of work to implement, rigging each and every mini to each type of race

Yes, it would be cute. And FINALLY a way for your minis to keep up with you!

But I would HATE constantly picking him up by accident while trying to loot a body. It’s bad enough when NPCs are tagging along and a chat screen pops up when my intent was to gather booty. (Don’t get me started on accidental harvesting and reviving! MAN it is hard to stop reviving without accidentally dodging and wasting endurance!)

Maybe only in town? Or maybe a check box (like the display/don’t display checkbox for headgear) to hold them instead of the multifunctional and overused F key.
