Guild Wars 2

So I want to preface this with a bit of Information,

I have 2 80s that I play regularly, a warrior and an engineer. I’m currently running a fair amount of COF exp mode for the badges and often use gw2lfg.com for finding the majority of my groups.

With that being said, it seems that there is a glaring issue with the class balance system, because one glance and you’ll see warriors are in very high demand, and the rest of the classes are getting the cold shoulder. I understand that warriors are a melee class and because they take more risk being in range that they should do higher damage and have more sustainability, but its getting a bit ridiculous.

seeing the top posts saying lf3m warriors only , lf1m DPS warrior, and many, many others should be a serious red flag, the class is fairly imbalanced in comparison to the rest, and often I find if I want to participate in the dungeon, i get pigeonholed into playing that class and that class only.

I don’t want to turn this into a crying post, after all, having a warrior i can say that I’ll always have a spot for these runs, but it doesnt seem like an intended outcome and I just wanted to bring it you the attention of the devs that this was happening. I’m not going to say nerf this or buff that, because for the most part, I feel that you all have done a very fine job of keeping the dynamic nature of the classes in check.

Hey there. I’m playing CoF regularly with my engineer on the server Gandara and I never have any problem finding a party. Nobody rages at me, xept for “them pro thieves”.
Can I ask you what server you’re playing, cause those people really have a bad attitude?
If you’re on Underworld, don’t be surprised, that’s where all the jerks went to.

I play mostly on maguuma, but its not an issue with server, its cross realm with gw2lfg

As for balance issues with this class, I think they should increase longbow range from 900 to 1200 and rewrite one of the traits that does it (since its kinda waste of a trait. That 300 range isn’t worth it, yet in some situations it could be useful).

again, my goal here is not to scream X needs a nerf, Y needs a buff. I simply want to bring up that the demand for warriors are much much higher than any other class, to the point where its becoming a polarizing issue in group comp. if the goal is for each class to be able to contribute equally to a dungeon environment. its beginning to fail and its something they might want to look at
