I don’t think it’s very fun to either be the server camping another server’s spawn, or the be the one camped. Both suck.
WvW is the most fun when there is actually a real competition going on. And besides, it’s not like removing orb combat advantage is going to change the fact that a more heavily populated server with ROFL-stomp a more lightly populated one…it may just make it so there is actually more of a fight.

You have got to be joking…. so it’s alright for you to have fun and your server have the advantage but not the others?
Fun needs to be for everyone, not for a single side, and can be achieved by removing advantages from winning sides to even the playing field.
Personally I’d like to see Orbs apply a modifier to incoming points or at least something not related to unfair fights. Yes, the winning server will get more advantages in other areas, but the losing sides will not be fighting more numerous, higher health and higher stat enemies.

Completely agree with the OP. For the sake of encouraging losing servers to not just give up for an entire match (which is happening a lot already), the orb and outmanned bonuses should be swapped around.
Agreed. Or keep the advantage, but give it a trade off. Keep defenders where the orb is are demoralized and are made much weaker. So if you have it, fine. But it will be a pain to keep, and gives a chance to the owning server to get it back.
All advantages and no downsides kind if makes it a bit lopsided…
Honestly, Orb Bonuses and Outmanned bonuses need to be swapped. When I get Outmanned, I think, “Oh! Time to go do the jumping puzzle and grind some mats.” When I have the Orbs, I think, “Oh! Time to fight the other team.” It blows my mind that Anet created two separate bonuses, and gave both to the wrong team. Orb bonuses should work like the WvW server wide bonuses. If you own orbs, your server gets stuff. It doesn’t hurt balance in WvW, and orbs get to stay in in WvW.

They should just swap the Outmanned and Orb bonuses.
