Ive got a Warrior with the other 2 which i dont use anymore and want the pick, axe and sickle to be placed on a Necro. Cant we have either just ‘Account Bound’ on these items or at least the option to pay a small gem fee to have them un-soulbound?

The cosmetic armor is soulbound on use. The cosmetic gathering tools are soulbound on use. The only frustration I can see is that you can now no longer get the other cosmetics.

The cosmetic armor can be moved to another character using transmutation crystals/stones. The infinite gathering tools cannot, that is a difference.

Leave them soulbound. Anet needs to make money somehow.

They could produce quality content that would encourage people to spend money.

Sadly they make waaaaay more money with waaaaay less effort with RNG boxes.

+1 for it being account bound. I’d purchase one in a second.

I understand. I think it should be soulbound so you can’t pass it around on your alts every 5 minutes.

However, I’m already panicking about ANet releasing another tool later whose animation and effects would be a better fit for my main than the current ones. I can still buy it, but would lose the on that I already spent money on. In such a case, it would be great if I could “hand down” the existing tool to an alt, one time only.

Possible solution: Sell every tool (from model number 4, if/when it is released) together with an unbind ticket, that allows a one-time re-allocation of an existing tool to an alt.
