Class change kit on Gem Store
I hope that Warrior/Guardian kits are cheaper in your scenario. Since, y’know, there isn’t many options to pick from for us…
Do you even lift, bro?

Haha, well this is a nice idea, but rather utopic. Your character has went through a story, and I think that story should stay the same. You shouldn’t just be able to change into something completely different. I’m fine with hairstyles, but not with gender changes.
Class changes could work, IF you kept the character’s looks completely the same.
Yes, everything stay the same, apart from class. If u change a class- looks stays, gender etc the same. Story is not affected from class, so it is just class change.
But really, tool to disechant (unbound) items wouldnt be so hard to implement.
Weapons are also important because not every profession has the same. So I propose a tool to change profession as long as the new profession has:
- the same weapons
- the same armor class
Without sarcasm this means it’s impossible and I don’t support the suggestion. Since it takes a short time to level a new character, and even shorter to gear it, I have absolutely no clue why anyone would want this.
If you want to pay gems for this, just get yourself crafting materials. For about 5 gold you can get a character up to 80. So technically this suggestion already exists.

5g for level 80? That’s a joke. It’s 5 gold PER crafting discipline you level. And each crafting discipline only gets you 10 levels up. So you’d need to level 8 crafting disciplines for 40g. Looks like a big difference, so I support the class kit greatly.

What would it bring to the table? There’s absolutely no good argument to change profession with gems. At least try to give a coherent reason why this would be a good idea?
Furthermore: “Classes” are not implemented in this game so a class kit wouldn’t do anything at all.

The reason above. If you pay 400 gems for a class kit, you’d be able to enjoy another class without a lot of effort or a lot of money. 400 gems = 7g. Speedleveling another character with crafting = 40g. That seems like reason enough to me.
While races are not something you can easily change without greatly altering the story, professions do not affect story at all.
And if you have noticed, when you get a racial skill with a profession other than engineer, you ALSO get the tool belt skills.
This means that any character has the potential to be of any profession.
So I would agree with this as long as you don’t get to do all the skill challenges again.
No skill point refund. Only trait refund.
If you want those skills back, change back to your old profession, and they’ll be there.
- Use kit
- Pick new profession.
- All gear is unequipped. Soulbound gear stays soulbound even if you can’t use it anymore. (The process is canceled if you don’t have inventory to place all the items unequipped)
- All traits are refunded.
- You have to get more skill points. Skill points are not refunded, and challenges do not reset.
Then, after you unlock that new profession, you can pay something between 1 and 10 gold or 200-600 gems to the trainer of the previous profession to go back to the old one, the process of unequipping all gear and refunding all traits repeats and the old skills you learned when you had that profession would still be there.
You would technically be able to waste tons of gold/gems to get a character that has learned all skills of all professions, but obviously can use the skills of a profession only when they are the corresponding profession.
I don’t know why would you want to do that, but hey, you would be able to.
As for unbinding gear, I would accept one that makes a soulbound item soulbound to the account instead until equipped again.
- But NOT something that completely unbinds and item.
- And NOT something that makes it permanently account bound, excepting for legendaries, which I think should bind to the account on use instead to the character.

I would agree only if you’re set to lv1 after using this kit.
