Epic Missions that reward choice of precusor
Think I’ll save us some time and list the counter arguments:
-Then everybody can get a legendary, legendaries won’t mean anything
-It’ll flood the market with more legendaries and ruin the economy even more
-There’s plenty of good ways to get legendaries already, we don’t need anymore
And the counter arguments to those in order
-There’s already a lot of them out there, they already don’t really mean much beyond a fancy skin. If you aren’t seeing a lot of them you’re not paying attention.
-Economy is based on supply and demand, having more legendaries means more people are buying materials to make those legendaries which means more demand to the current supply.
-If by plenty of good ways you mean Random Number God, and anybody (except those who hit that one in a million chance) can tell you, RNG is not a good thing to rely on. RNG makes Legendaries sort of worthless as its not some herculean task to get it, you just got lucky a lot of times.
That the most common ones out of the way? Good, lets hear some new arguments.
Though for my part, it would have to be a very epic questline that would be next to impossible to do on your own or even with a group and even with a group only one person will get the precursor per run. Make the Precursor something you have to accomplish a herculean task to get to represent your actual mastery of the game which is what they’re meant to represent.
That does sound a lot similar to the “Scavenger hunt”, they said they will do as a way to obtain precursors, to me, so yeah something like that is already planned
From what I’ve heard the “Scavenger Hunt” is not being actively worked on, so really that could change into something much harder than a simple Scavenger Hunt.
I would say it should be something much harder than a Scavenger Hunt to enforce the “Legendaries should be Unique” thing. Or at least have a new series of Legendaries that are much harder to get as you can’t get them from RNG or from anything but a very hard dungeon complete with Agony and other fun effects and challenges.

I think legendaries should be earned with skill, not gold-farming. They just aren’t legendary anymore, give up on them.
