Experience Scrolls for Experienced Players
Hello =)
I personally leveled 11 characters, because I love make skins when the level reaches 80.
“If you have max-leveled more than 5 characters, you can buy an experience scroll granting 60 levels.”
I totally agree =) because I’m bored to leveling, I just want make more and more skins !

Aaaah it burns!!!! 11 characters. I admire you.
Well it’s a better idea for fast leveling than others that I’ve heard of. But, I just don’t like your reward system, to be honest. I’ve never been a fan of anything that shoots a player directly to the end game, however, am willing to counter-recommend that only after you’ve leveled to 80 and have completed the story mode on each of the 5 different races would you be able to get a scroll that will level a new character to 60 or even 80. No scrolls for just leveling 1, 2 or 3 characters. The reasoning is that the storylines are separated along racial lines until they merge. Since those stories are about evolving your character from a nobody into a somebody, they are really meant to have your character level and improve as you progress along with the story progression. Not to mention the storyline is more challenging with lower level characters than if you had that insta level 20, 40, 60 or 80.
In other words, complete the challenges set in front of you, before earning the privilege to insta level your next character. Otherwise you’re missing a big part of the PvE experience. No I don’t want to hear that you think the story is boring, because that is not the topic here, and opinions vary widely on that. The fact that you’ve been given the opportunity to progress each race along a separate story line before they merge should be reason enough for you to want to go from 0 to 80 the ‘hard’ way at least once per race.
I would add that this scroll should only be available for use by those races currently in the game. If in the future they add more races, then the scroll would not work for them until the player naturally progresses those races through their own storylines and levels. Otherwise, players will insta level that Tengu or Quaggan, or whatever new races come out with any new expansion. Everyone else’s experience relies on all players at least starting out on a even playing field.
Hello, yeah you are right, I personally finish the story mode (include Arah Story) on 9 characters =)
“Otherwise, players will insta level that Tengu or Quaggan, or whatever new races come out with any new expansion.”
Yep I agree with that, good idea.

I agree partly with that Cattivo:
- Insta-leveling shouldn’t be something that is achieved easily
- Maybe it’s better to only sell scrolls when you have proven you’re an adept player, by leveling 5 characters, but I think the story requirement are a bit severe.
The personal story was interesting until level 50, where you got to the part that got really ugly and rushed, so after you finished your own faction’s story and became a Pact member. For me the most interesting part of the story was level 1-30, the racial one. I think we could add another requirement there though: become a full member of each of the specific orders (Vigil/Priory/Whispers).
Also if there’s a new expansion: there’s 2 options; either we can enter the zones with our level 80 characters or we need to create a new character. In the case you need to create a new character I think it’s appropiate to let people who played the original game buy an experience scroll after 3 maxed-out characters in the new expansion.
Otherwise, players will insta level that Tengu or Quaggan, or whatever new races come out with any new expansion.
Despite what their current position is on the subject, I’d be willing to put money on them releasing some form of race change item in the gemstore to coincide with any new races that were added to the game.
