Fusing crystals from the bank?
You are not crafting them though.
Same with upgrading materials via the Mystic Forge, you need to have the material on you in order to do it.

A long time back, you added the ability to craft without having to extract items from the bank. Could the same be done with the daily `fuse 25 crystals’ process? It would save unnecessary fuss of having to go to town to access the bank, then return to the place of power.

It is exactly like refining any other crafting material, and I see no reason to treat it any differently.

Maybe they made it this way because it was easier to time gate it by using skill point sites than thru the mystic forge or crafting panel? The skill point places already have a cut off after you use them once. It might have been easier to work around that rather than add it to another site.
