GW2: Home (Housing) (Perfect solution )
Legendary weapons are already unobtainable for most players, and there are a LOT more of them than 80 in the world.
But if there were housing instances, I don’t see why you wouldn’t be able to move different people in the same house, they’d just each get their own instance (like dungeons) when they enter with or without their party members.

Yes but thats good about Legendary weapons as they are Legendary for a reason, so housing would work out perfectly too.
This idea is totally wrong…..I mean….80….u sure =.= ? They should follow Aion’s housing system which is pretty decent imo.

Not 80 what so ever,I was just making an example. it could be 5000000 or just 5…
I don’t like that idea much. It should be available for everybody, not only for the people that have time to farm or that can buy a lot of gems to trade for gold.
Keep in mind that GW2 is for everyone. It is not only for people that can play for over six hours a day, but also for the ones that can only play a couple of hours a week.
How about an instance that we can customize and that everybody would have as default?
Also, in a couple of months after the release of the system you are suggesting, all the houses would be occupied already. So what about new players?

Well sure if you can only play a couple of hours a week what would a house matter to you then? But for the people who really love Guild Wars 2 and play it even as a sport.
Also you could always buy gems or something… But sure new players would have to get to level 80 first and get into the game and then think about getting a house, that’s the whole point.

A house matters to me because I am a roleplayer. Just because a player has to study or to work (or both, like me) it doesn’t mean that he or she doesn’t love Guild Wars 2 as much as you do. Frankly, I can’t understand how you could get to this kind of conclusion.
And I’m talking about the limitation of the number of the houses, not about the character’s level. There should be no limit, or new players wouldn’t be able to buy a house simply because there would be none available anymore after just a few months.

How about you focus more on the game as there are no skritt killing opportunities in real life and leave the real life things (house keeping) to real life. If you want to go fix/ build/ maintain a house, go do yard work.
It’s only marginally better than the “fifteen houses for top players” idea you came up with three months ago:

It simply breeds elitism and to be honest, I could think of better things I’d rather be doing than grinding the hell out of this game for one of these overpriced houses I could lose in a week because I decided to take a break from playing.
Far from perfect. Housing is most wanted by casual gamers and roleplayers. Telling them to ‘Just buy gems’ to get a house? Sure, I’ll take a second job so I can have a house in a videogame… The perfect solution doesn’t exist, as soon as someone thinks it up, someone else will top it. A better one would be to add a house you can buy in your home instance, or a quest to obtain it. A noble player could have a chain where their home is seized and they have to get it back somehow. The street players, they just get the old hangout of the gang they do away with. The commoners just move into the tavern after saving it. Then story quests and gem shop things added to improve them, add npcs, etc.
Because this game totally needs more farming, that’s a wonderful idea.
There’s my sarcasm quota for the day
i’m sorry, i hate the idea that players that are already rich in the game can get something that i won’t because i don’t have enough money before the limited number of houses is capped.
no matter how many hours or gems a person can have everybody should be able to get it

This isn’t a perfect solution, it’s a terrible solution.
Housing should be available to anyone and everyone, obviously there should be higher costing housing that offers more benefits and/or looks more aesthetically pleasing.
I feel there should also be a new crafting profession that is able to make furniture & additions to your house, perhaps some of these additions could be things like crafting stations, personal storage chest (For Armor & Weapon skins, alternate armor sets, etc).

Just roleplayers?, but sure they may play the game all the time.
And instead of a house how about a Castle?.
I dream of a demon house, with a lab that I can customize! it would be cool!
But paying a fortune for a home for just two days before someone buys you, I find it sad = (
