Guild Wars 2

Hello,

Is it possible to add a feature so we can see when a member was last online. I mean, it’s so hard to organize a guild right now if there are over 400 members in it and you want to keep it active and use ranks.

There are so many things you can actually just copy paste from another game called World of Warcraft from Blizzard. They have a great guild system, no matter how terrible the game is.

Are there any guild management changes on their way or not? At the moment leading a guild is hard because we don’t have the tools in the game and we have to add forums/calendars outside the game to actually communicate with our members.

The only tool we have at the moment to speak is our Guild Message Of The Day system where we put events up etc. But it’s way to simple. Please make guild management complicated with a lot of features. The more, the less that can go wrong.

I miss that too. The only information is the “unknown” location, what means that the player has not been online for 4 days if I’m not mistaken. But that won’t say much, I could simply log in for some seconds, and the game would say that I played it – I’m not inactive

Another good addition would be a system that informs changes in the Message of the Day. A lot of people doesn’t read it, especially when it doesn’t change everyday. So if there’s a reminder or something alike to tell the guild members to pay attention to it, communication will be improved

and maybe an activity calender while we’re at it, hmmmm? there is SO much room for improvement in guild management and options!

I would love to see guild activity and contribution.

IMO the guild MotD should be displayed on login like it does in every other game Ive played lol, found it a bit odd that it doesn’t do that.

This has been stated way to often, more info for guilds so they can actually get a guild running and MOTD that is actually usefull so things dont get dusty but actually get some attention.

Guild Wars2, needs to put the “GUILD” back in Guild Wars!
Sunsouth Cove, for example overflows, guild mission, but hey guess what? Different party different overflow.

Guilds need way more attention, big groups possible for events and perhaps future raiding (which has been asked for often as well, and might seem like a bad idea, but a new challenge would be more then welcome).

Do a search… about a zillion posts asking for this. I remember people suggesting back in BW1 about this feature. Guild system and the current grouping systems (commander and private/guild squads) need attention from the devs.

The inability to group the way we want and run a guild easily is frustrating right now.

BUMP. This needs to get done by ArenaNet. If the community will shout for this, they will have to do it.
