I don’t play wow anymore but I played and paid for a couple of years.
I don’t think always making changes to classes matters very much. I love change but could the attention not be brought to something else? wow is a great game but outdated in a way, the textures are all low quality but they look and feel great but are outdated in my opinion.

like I use to run a website and put all my time and effort into it.
I treated it like it was my child and put so much effort into it, the members loved it but then I started to keep changing it (making unnecessary changes) like changing something and then changing it again and then going back and what ever. now what the members really wanted was -> content <- . the forum was already perfectly (mostly) layed out and had great forum software. the thing it was lacking was content and over time changes kept been made and then reverted and whatever but that was just useless and made the members not like it was much. they wanted new and more content, not changes. the classes in wow are already fine really but in my opinion as of now over 7 years it needs to be updated and more content. not changes made to classes. instead of putting the effort and attention to changing classes, etc -> focus on new content. World of Warcraft in my opinion is already awesome because:
- The World, the way everything is layed out, etc
- The music (perfect for each zone, etc)
- Elwynn Forest -> Goldshire (the way its layed out).
- The light/-> Brightish. It gives a nice fresh feeling and why I loved and played WoW.
- Even zooming in and out from your alt (using the mouse scroll) is smooth and perfect on WoW, on GW2 its choppy.
- The textures, art, etc (but the textures quality seems to be very low, wish it is higher quality) -> makes a big difference

No disrespect, but this sounds more of a ‘I with these things were done to improve WoW’ post than a suggestion list for GW2.

EDIT: Right, got time to expand now.

Not only have we had content this month, but we’ll also be having a content patch in November featuring a new island, new PvE mode, new PvP features and a 3 day event

As well as this, they’ve been working on the bot issues and bug fixes. The game is all of 2 months old. You can’t reasonably expect it to have as much content as WoW at the present.

As for focusing on class changes, Anet want a heavy focus on e-sports and SPvP, meaning class balance is high on their list as well.

All in all, while I do have some issues, they’re doing a mighty fine job of putting content out there as well as everything else.

Life is a journey.
Time is a river.
The door is ajar.

Bish beat me to the punch. Yes it seems as if you meant this post to be in the WoW forums.

As for your idea, fixing bugs and dealing with balance take priority over new content imo, which is exactly what anet is trying to do. it’s really a balancing act, they have to be dealing with bugs and balance while throwing new content in the mix. More often than not, the new content would generate more bugs making an endless cycle of fix bugs and put up new content.

What you’re saying is focus on new content. so when bugs go rampant i suppose you’ll come and rage on the forums yeah? Uusing your little forum as an example isn’t a good one either, managing a forum is nothing compared to dealing with coding for a game i would think. Just sit tight and wait. they’ll add new stuff just give them time

Actually, new content and fixing bugs is not necessarily handled by the same group of people.

Artists are one thing.
Planning the layout etc is another.
Dealing with system mechanics (class, skills, etc) is another.

Essentially, you made a very pointless, uninformed topic.

- Every Zone in GW2 in my opinion has 1-2 audio track that is amazing and fits it perfectly.

Same here, and I’m still confused.
