Recently my guild mates and I (the Sentinels [SENT]) noticed it was getting very confusing to recognize your own best guild mates in guild chat if they were to switch to an alt character you werent familiar with.
As a guild with 300+ active members it can be a nightmare in chat when no one knows each other unless in a 3rd party chat program (mumble/teamspeak/etc)

Is it not possible for guild chat to display the Account name of the player speaking instead of the character they are playing as? It seems to be more streamlined and effective for guilds to organize things. We are hoping this can be addressed in the near future. Thank you!

Also, please make completed level of difficulty in Fractals account-wide! its causing huge rifts in the PUG community as well as causing tension within guilds! People simply do not want to be held back from playing with friends with multiple characters just because that one toon didnt do FotM level whatever!!!

Yeah you can see it in the guild-roster and you can also see it when hovering over the name but that does not fix the problem. The whole time you see somebody character name and not there account name so you learn to know people by there character name. From some people you might learn the account name from many you won’t (even if you you are in-game friends) because normally you never see it. When somebody logs in that you do not know you should then always check the account name to see who it is and that is if you do know his account-name.

Best is to show account and char name in guild and party-char.

I am the guild-leader of a 200+ members guild and the number of people we are now on we would like to keep (not become much bigger) because we would like that members know each other. However, showing the char name in stead of the account name will make this still very hard for every guild with more as 25 members.

I do not support this! Make it an option. I RP with people and I might know one char of a player and not another.

I would like to see it as an option, but not mandatory. I would also like for guild chat to be saved in the message window when I character swap like tells do.
