Idea for a new profession: Alchemist
I don’t usually like new profession suggestions, but I do like this one. Maybe in your own examples, it is a little close to an elixir engineer, but it has awesome potential if you’d expand the “arcane” (naturalistic/shamanistic/tribal) aspect some more.
Mixing potions for boons and weapon skills? Awesome.

The idea is pretty good, but I’m not really sure if Alchemist is the best description for the profession. It really sounds like an option for Engineers, not a different profession
On the other hand, the base idea is awesome and I’d love to see a class that can transform the skills like that (Invoker lol)
I have to be honest, i hate guild wars 2 engineers, i use to play a lot of Torchligh II and my fave class was the eng, when i bought GW2 my first profession choice was obviously the eng, but it was too different from what i had in mind, so i thought in a way to split the profession in two:
Engineer: would change the armor to the heavy type with maces and hammers as main weapons, take out the elixirs skills and focus on the turrents, kits and gadgets.
Alchemist: Use the elixir part of the engi but in a improved way and mix it up with some arcane techniques.
