Include puzzles in a few exp dungeon paths
Sure, I like this. The puzzle needs to be semi-random or it would be terribly boring after the first time, though.
I dont think it would be terribly boring after the first time since you ahve a goal to work towards – not making any mistakes and triggering mobs. Not having to face any mobs besides the final boss sounds pretty sweet to me since it would feel like you are infiltraiting a base. They would have to change up the cutscene for the SE asura path if they did this though (Please, fix this terrible path)
As for randomness, i agree, that would be pretty cool. But the only way I see randomness be realistic is if they put in multiple paths to complete the puzzle and randomize the mobs if you trigger an alarm.
I think this is a novel idea!
