Here is the thing. What we have with world bosses isn’t right and many of players must admit it.
First of all I’d like to talk about inconvenient schedule of bosses’ arrival.
I’ve been doing these events with world bosses for a while and I must say that I’m tired. I find it very stressful, adjusting to a schedule of world bosses approach. What if I don’t have time for this? What if I’m too late or too early? I must wait for these events, right? What if I don’t have time for waiting? And usually I don’t. At a time Dragon or Fire Elemental is approaching, I can be busy, and because of that, I can miss this event.
Well, there are many things I can do in the game, but isn’t it hilarious? Missing content because of stupid schedule? I hate schedules in the game. It’s okay when it is a temporarily event, such as hallowing, or Flame and Frost. These events are temporarily, but world bosses aren’t.

Another thing I’d like to talk about is the problem with overcrowding. Yesterday I saw in a guild chat: “Jormag is here! 100% of Health! Come!” And I came. But I didn’t see Jormag. I saw only crowd. I was on overflow. So I just wasted my time and money to get there. I don’t think it’s right.

And the last thing I’d like to talk about is an entertainment. Because of overcrowding world bosses live not long.
The crowd are killing poor boss during one minute (+/-). It’s not an epic fight. It’s extermination. And where is fun of that?

Maybe my idea will look silly, but… Maybe you make world bosses instanced? Think about it.
If world bosses are instanced:

1. We don’t have to adjust to a schedule. We can go and kill world boss whenever we like. It’s very convenient option, admit it. It’s not bad.

2. In that case, you can solve the problem with overflow. Because people don’t have to kill world bosses at the same time. They can and will do it in a different time. I think it will solve the problem with overflow. Or am I wrong?

3. It will help you to make fight with world bosses hard, dynamic, epic. Just like you want. How it will help? Simple. Because it’s instance, the size of players is limited. What we have right now, with 20+ people, it’s not epic, it’s not hard, and it’s lagging.

But it doesn’t mean that bosses will not have timers between their resurrections. They will as they are right now. The difference will be… For example you killed instanced world boss Golem 2 and after that it will remain dead until timer will end and you can kill it again. Just like what we have right now. And loot be the same as it is today. With the same chance we have today.
The difference is that it will be instanced, so you don’t have to worry about schedule anymore. Isn’t it great? For me it is. It will save a lot of time, which is very important for casual player. And it must increase the quality of the fight against bosses. Make fight harder than it is right now with 20-30+ people.

I don’t know, if it possible to make existing bosses instanced, or maybe you will add some instanced bosses on the future? Or is it impossible at all?

Yes, Dragons and other bosses are part of living world in Guild Wars. But we have instanced history with Rox and Braham right now, and open world Flame and Frost events too. So I thought with bosses like dragon champions, or such as worm, can be the same thing.

I would welcome some instanced boss fights…
… perhaps something like the Burning Circle Named Monsters (BCNM) events in Final Fantasy XI.
I also would like to see some named monsters (NMs) that roam each zone!

I’d like instanced content that isn’t 5 man dungeon runs in general. A lot of games use it to general success. Random missions in Anarchy Online and City of Heroes, Skirmishes in LOTRO, Scenarios in Mists of Pandaria, all serve as varied examples. Not to mention missions in GW1. Even with a full party of heroes, there were some I had to get help on to get a Master completion.

I forgot about one moment. One of the main things in GW2 which separates this game from others, is that you can join to the battle without entering to group. Exception dungeons. This is a problem I guess… because game will turn to something not unique.

But then I thought about this:

What if bosses are instanced, but you don’t have to joint to group if you want to enter to the instance and kill boss? Let’s imagine you can join to battle with instance boss just like in open world, just like you can joint in Dynamic Events. The difference would be…well, limited amount of players, per instance. You are entering to the instance, and game system put you in that instance, where boss has not killed yet, and where you can have place.

Dragons are very easy to kill, and there’s no challenge. You just need to spam skill 1 and get the gold medal.

Dragons need to be skilled, mobile and hard to fight, just like any temple guard.
What’s the point to spawn 12 Jormags a day? It gets really boring, dragons should be the hardest creature on GW2 and it’s already a farm spot.
