I’m not sure if this topic has already been disscused, but i guess it can’t hurt to reopen the discussion.

As the title says, i think anet should really start thinking of adding couple more mini dungeons in fractals. These, that already exist, have been played to death and are just plain borring now. I know the difficulty rises along with the levels, but that doesn’t make the map a whole lot more entertaining. In my opinion, anet should make new mini dungeon every few months. I’m not saying they should remove the ones that already exist, but that they should just add new ones from time to time. I’m not very good with programming (in fact, i have absolutely no clue about it) so i don’t know if what I’m asking for is a big thing to achive.

Also the ideas for new mini dungeons. I think it would really be cool, if they added more “historic” dungeons from gw1, so people who played gw1 could get little nostalgic, and people who didn’t could learn a little bit more about what a fantastic game Guild Wars 1 was. For example they could turn gw1 missions into mini fractal dungeons (and the dificoulty should be adjusted to 5 players team of course). For example nolani academy, where your team has to push through some fire legion charr, so thjey can get to Stormcaller and chase the charr away. There had too be some end boss of course. Or when you help ascalonians through shiverpeak mountains and at the end one particular ascalonian dies. Or when you have to push through fire island to kill lich. And also don’t forget factions (last 2 missions could be joined into 1 – push through some shiro’kens and endboss Shiro) and nightfall (kick some god’s kitten or even EotN (kill the great destroyer). These are just some of the examples, I’m sure almost every mission from gw1 holds a potential of being mini fractal dungeons. And don’t forget about UW, FoW, Ugroz, The Deep or DoA.

What do you guys think?

As many times as it may of been suggested, yes please. More fractals are welcome. As are adjustments to the current fractals to make them more appealing to all professions and not just the few that trickle in.

Please, I beg 1 dungeon designer to respond and answer, what was the though process behind the Dredge fractal at 48 where you have to plant the bombs to blow the door open?

Should the step be hard? Most definitly.

Should a stealth player be able to solo it? Most definitly not.

Should there be over 20 level 82-83 mobs with veterans in the mix defending the door while players pretend like they have a chance at kiting that mosh pit? Uh…

How about the Volcanic fractal?

Should the Legendary imbued shaman have no queue at when the fire aoe is going to start? Probably not, all hard hitting skills should have some queue whether it be visual or audio.

Should the legendary imbued shaman be the weakest part of the fight? When you make dozens of trash mob summons harder than the main boss it defeats the purpose. You can easily dodge the shaman, those elementals and thier random immobilize are quite questionable.

There are MANY things I enjoy about fractals, and also many things I do not agree with. But I am 1 player, who spent $60 + X amount on gems. The only option I’m left with is to get over it… very unfortunate.
