At least in europe, we use a lot this cellphone services that you pay a fix amount every month and you get free calls to every cellphone that uses the same service.

The result is that we get a lot of money stuck in our cellphones, thanks to BOKU I’ve spent lots of money on other online games, but I would really love to spend all my 110€ that I have stuck in my cellphone in your wonderfull game gems

It’s a good idea for both the U.S. and European markets, because paying by SMS/Phone always seems to be a popular option amongst young people with that option in MMO’s who like having putting their phone bill and others into one to simplify it all.

I agree too. Like Macam said in Europe we usually get a lot of money stuck on our cellphones thanks to the tariffs used. It would be a great idea if we could buy gems using this kind of payment.

they should add a pay by sms option.

That is a fantastic idea, paying by left over credit on your phone is great because its money people tend just to want to get rid of.

I ANet need to make money I’d rather go the subscription route than the current route, which just affects the gameplay negatively. Seems that many people spend the money on chinese gold farmers, too.
(chinese gold selling site with terrible engrish text came up 3rd result when I searched the web for Buy Guild Wars 2)

No way, children will spend last money on MMO and they don’t have money to call to parent. Or for parent will come huge bills to pay for phone

I pay for my own cell phone, and I’m not a child anymore and I still would use a mobile payment option over my credit card, or debit card etc. It simplifies the bills for games when this option is available and I’m more likely to purchase things like in this case, gems. It’s more secure, and if that isn’t enough it just broadens the options for their game which should be reason enough. SW:TOR uses Boku, just to name a newer (American) game that uses the option. But there’s also other ones like MoPay etc…:))

I fully support the idea of an SMS Payment Method, seeing how in the most popular moba on earth right now it is working like a charm and feel more comfortable making use of such a system. So again, here is my vote for SMS Payment Method!

Daopay is another sms payment provider that I just found in case BOKU is too mainstream for you

Can any mod change the title of this topic please? instead of BOKU put SMS?

I would glady do the mobile/sms to buy gems and I know a lot of other South Africans would feel the same. I truly hope they bring in mobile payment methods.
