The request IS simple. I dunno bout the solution (or ANet’s ability to code anything), but the request is clear and concise.
There is a suggestions forum.
I agree all other namesplates can be turned on and off why not pet names? It really ruins the immersion of the game to see the pet name when all other names can be turned off.
