Currently, it is possible to draw on the map, but it fades away! My suggestion is that it should be possible to draw on the map and make it permanent and only go away when you want it to. This way, you can stake out a route to follow instead of opening the map all the time.

A feature like should probably only be able on your personal map, meaning if you draw something permanent while in a group, it with either fade or not show at all for the rest of the group. This is stop prevent abuse, for example someone covering the whole map and just being an idiot.

+1 I find this a very good idea, would be more than handy!

Reminds me of LoZ: spirit hourglass. I scribbled a lot on the map, set me reminders of things etc. This would be awesome!

Great idea! I would make notes like “here be dragons” and the Chinese character fot “tiger” to designate dangerous areas.

And a very large “here be DREDGE!” across the whole of Dredgehaunt Cliffs…

I’ve used this feature in game maps wherever available; Tyria is a big place and I would love to be able to save down my own notes +1.
