PvP Looting poorly implemented: Badge of Honor
Like Karma, Badges of Honor should be another form of currency.
agreed. it pisses me off that i can go from foe to foe and kill a few and only get 1-2 loot bags with badges in them, when i kill them 1v1 only.
I think this is a great idea.
Completely agree, badges of honor are probably one of the worst parts of GW2, which otherwise is a phenomenal game.
Please Anet, put some TLC into the WvW mechanics, they need it.
“Honor” should have replaced Glory and Karma in WvW as ‘token’ currency and alternate payment when you don’t have enough gold, for example, to get a weaker version of siege plans, and to pay for upgrades in buildings.
The item Badge of Honor would then be purchasable with Honor in a Honor vendor, for whatever it maybe needed, like transferring them to another character so they can get items.

It’s not PvE, we don’t have Way points every 100 meters, ANet also anticipated problems by attempting to fix it by having the bags spawn at your feet very much different than in PvE.
So, at least attempt some consistency in your counter rationalism.
Don’t die as a work around isn’t a solution. I actually am pretty survivable on my Necro, so I end up losing more for having been so long lasting.

I don’t get why something similar to “Glory” wasn’t used. You would still get karma for captures and defends, but you also get “Honor” as suggested already to buy WvW-related items like gear or siege weapons.
