Range Trackers - for ground-target
But would that really be needed? It seems like a mechanic that cheats players of a learning experience, rather than actually helping said player learn his limits.
It’s not needed, but it would certainly be nice. Especially when you’re in the middle of a fight.
Well, yes, maybe as an optional thing. Don’t think it’s likely to be implemented though, as ANet likes to keep this game difficult rather than dumbing things down.
Really? xD I don’t think this game could get much “dumber” than it already is. A-Net worships the mega-casuals, and that’s what this game was made for.
I would much rather have it so that if you click on the ground and you happen to move your mouse just that much more to turn it red it shouldn’t reset your skill, it should just let you back up a bit and click again instead of having to activate the skill again.

Okay, fair point, but why dumb it down even more.
Well, it’d be nice to not die from missing my cast of Infiltrator’s Arrow, and to not miss tossing a grenade when I need to, things like that. :P It’s just a neat thing to have, y’know?
Now I would dearly love to see such a thing in place in Wv3 to help with siege placement. It is difficult to judge what your maximum range is on a treb for example when setting one up.
Well, that’s a bit different from what I’m suggesting. :P My suggestion is for the ground-targeted abilities with the little green circle. Siege is just a charge for distance thing. You could actually set up an equation to figure out the distance.
This would take effect for the arrow carts though.
