First time I faced off against Tequatl,
I was there with 30 or more level 80 characters
I myself a level 75 character
Tequatl is level 65
and the area where you encounter him
is level 55 to level 65
I was only 10 seconds of the field before I was killed,
I got up, was killed again
got up, killed, and so on
My armor broke and all I could see on the map was dead player icons,
ones the timer of Tequatl was nearly depleted we had done NO damage on him at all.
I will be fair to say that is overpowered,
Its easy to see the boss battle was designed for 50 or more level 80 players that have been playing this game hardcore day and night and are able to kill any boss without loosing even 1 health point, but unfortunately, those players are never around Tequala when normal players like myself try to beat him, nor are we able to survive longer then 5 seconds course he, his over spawning army of krait, those strange bone tentacles or even the huge bone walls blow us apart in only 2 blows while we are level 80, the maximum level of the game where you are supposedly at your maximal potential.
at this point I don’t even hesitate to say Tequatl is harder then the actual final boss of the game,
please nerf him, by removing a large amount of the krait spawn during his boss stage and removing a large amount of the bone tentacle’s that spawn around the area,
if we don’t constantly get killed by the random mobs in 2 blows then we might be able to get close enough to Tequatl to do at least minor damage, for a normal open world boss he should be beatable by at least 20 level 65 players, considering that is the area’s suggested level.
I am aware that the more experienced players would like a larger challenge and revel in dying every 3 seconds. but normal players can’t beat such high standards,
if possible, I would like to add the idea of adding a new form of instance, that allowed level 80 players to enter a huge world instance to fight a overpowered version of a world boss (for example the current Tequatl) so that more experienced hardcore players can enter that separated map in a huge group to face off against that monster, with of course a larger reward at the end
having this option of course for all other world bosses like the fire elemental, or Shadow Behemoth, who will all be a lot stronger and have a very large number of enemy mob spawns during there battle for all the die hard players to revel in being beaten to a pulp.
while the normal world boss Tequatl gets nerfed to have only little enemy mob spawns and less power, so that even a small group of players can take him down, getting of course only the normal reward for beating him, but at least being able to beat him.
I have heard that Tequatl had a overhaul not too recent ago to make him more powerful, but seriously, bosses need to be challenging fun, not overpowered overkill.
I faced off against him 3 times now, every time died in only a few seconds, and died during the course of the entire time he was spawned over and over seeing nothing but dozens of dead player icon’s on my mini map, never seeing anybody even doing so much as any damage on Tequatl before he rampages the shore’s and then flees.
Right now I even got comments from other players during map comments stating they don’t even try to fight Tequatl anymore course they can’t beat him.
Please downgrade him, let him keep his attacks, but remove the huge number of random enemy mobs and reduce his damage output so that (roughly) 15 to 20 players at level 65 (that are not organized like pro players) can take Tequatl down.
of course I am now only talking only about Tequatl but this goes for all other overpowered world bosses as well,
Its not normal that I can bring down normal enemy mobs by erasing a entire village of monsters without loosing any HP and then get killed in 2 hits, even if its a world boss,
it should be challenging, but all it is is overkill.
Shadow behemoth is by far the only world boss that I can name that could use a little more power in its regular spawn as he is completely open for damage during the entire fight as he rarely attacks at all.
