Underwater city
It would, except majority of players loathe underwater combat. And really, it does suck and feel kinda clunky and awkward.

I had suggested that in a thread, it certainly would be Great Idea.
(That would require alot of adjustments to each class underwater skills etc..)
TNo-doubt..that would be game-changing for Guild Wars 2
I personally love underwater. Quite a few have posted on forums that they hate it. For me most have one weapon that is really good and one that is not good at all, plus not all skills are usable underwater so it does not feel the same. Also thinking about where your character is in relation to mobs is not easy underwater.
I enjoy underwater exploration, but not underwater combat.
Underwater is so cool but yeah the combat isn’t very fun and i believe that has to do with the underwater skills themselves. They need to be changed somehow.
If they just gave us our normal weapon skills underwater and then added spear and trident as normal weapons it’d be less annoying. I still have no idea what in the world half my underwater weapon skills do.

Underwater is indeed lacking love, it is a big part of the game that is being ignored, they need to balance, update and add new content. I’d really like a alternate trait line for underwater, where you could adapt your trait to underwater.
I am a big fan of the underwater combat, it is extremely fun once you start getting ahold of it.
Though, underwater water need some more mechanic involve, instead of just huge health pool and higher damage to make up the difficulty.
To anyone complaining about underwater combat: bind your descend key. It will make your life underwater infinitely easier.
Water combat is not that bad at all. It’s much simpler, less dynamic, nevertheless it’s not that bad.
Underwater city could mean adding two new playable races – Hylek and Largos.

Underwater exploration has been one of the awsomest(if thats a word) things in the game! The detail of a sunken ship or a quaggen city.. awsome.
They could do a lot with this. Id love it.

As long as they polish underwater skills for all the professions, fix a few problems, and add the Largos as a playable race… I’m all for an underwater city.

Underwater movement and combat brings me fond memories of flying in City of Heroes. A whole city would be fun.
I Believe we will get underwater maps after campaign for Deep Sea Dragon starts, and I believe it won’t be soon
They should add exotic breathers with various skins before touching anything else in water. The fact that masterwork is the highest quality breather we can get atm really shows how little of an investment water combat was which is surprising when talking about coding that kind of movement.
As for a underwater city, we still got a lot of water undiscovered. Who knows, and after the massive flooding I imagine a once above water city might be home to some hylek or quaggans. Soo much we don’t know still^^
