Guild Wars 2

WvWvW Needs a separate GVG map for the guilds that want to have GVG matches and not take up legitimate queue slots for players that want to play WvWvW. Open filed and or a gladiator arena so no one can run away a true last man standing style. Even make it an e-sport like we had with GW1 points, ranks etc. Even an option for guilds to split into different teams so they don’t have to spend cash/gems for server transfers to have their own GVG.

Anything to free up slots for who want to play like the EB JP que fix.

I like the idea of there being something for guilds…since the game is named Guild wars rather than “Server wars 2”

I don’t know what they should do honestly cause I haven’t thought about it in a while but they really should have something. I feel like it could just be instanced in spvp maybe.

If GvG will ever get added, it will be a PvP game mode, and i’m sure 80% of WvW guys won’t even play that because that’s not the zerging they expected.

In any event the OP’s idea is required, as are many things atm. Recently I’ve been struck with how unfriendly many of the current tools/systems in place are in GW2.

I played GW1 and of course some GvG… Are really different game modes what GvG means on gw2.

But say that is “AoE spam”… There are lot of things that doesn’t make a GvG an AoE spam… First of all look carefully the skills of each member (sigils and runes), play exactly the same number (it’s not like every open field fight) and of course will win the one who moves better, faster, do the damage on the best place… Bah, the one more organized.

I’d like the mode that creator suggest, this with a leader, all servers could be involved (not just the WvW matchup), and if it was posible between EU and NA too! And of course… Spectator mode, and i think it could be an amazing e-sport being a Deathmatch mode! Could be AMAZING!

Why are people obsessed with the idea of GvG being part of WvW? Assuming GvG does get implemented (and I hope it does), it’ll be classified as TPvP because that’s basically what it is…
…or are you really hoping GvG will have supply, fortifications, random PvE events scattered around the place, and people hopping in to get their world completions?
