O.o wait what!!! I cant take Flesh Golem underwater!!! That needs to change ASAP

Quite honestly every class need’s their Elites re-evaluated as to what can and can’t be used underwater… as it stands now pretty much everyone is shoehorned into taking a specific elite skill for underwater combat.

Please stop assuming I’m a guy… I am female.

It’s one of the main problems of underwater combat. Thieves, for example, absolutely blow at underwater combat in PvE because they lose most of their useful utilities and are shafted into their weakest elite underwater – and for no apparent reason, given that both of their other elites could very easily be adapted to underwater combat.

On my Necro I run wells, but since I can’t use Wells underwater I run Minions underwater… not being able to use Flesh Golem underwater is going to be a huge pain since I quite honestly, HATE the transformation elites in every class….

I absolutely can’t stand them… it’s one thing to have them as an option, it’s an entirely different thing to make them a necessity by limiting you to only them as your underwater elites. My Elementalist runs with no elite at all underwater because I refuse to take the Tornado transformation Elite…

I will not now nor will I ever take any of the Transformation Elites on any of my characters. I have tested them out and they do not fit my play style at all nor do they fit with the conceptualizations I have for any of my characters.

Please stop assuming I’m a guy… I am female.

Their underwater elites make no sense. You can have the lesser necro minions but not the elite one? Where is the logic on that? Several professions don’t get an underwater elite until they get way down into the 30 point slot. So you have to buy two10 point elites first then the 30 pointer. And you better not want a different 30 pointer more or you get to accrue another 30 points. So for some professions, they need to get 50 skill points before they can get their elite underwater skill. Others, such as a Ranger, can get it with as their first 10 point elite.

Agreed on the flesh golem. He/she/it just sort of floats at the surface uselessly when you go into water and of course can’t be used.
Would seem to be an easy fix since the lesser minions are already adapted to underwater combat. Maybe it’s swimming animation didn’t work the way it was intended.
I also use wells above water & minions underneath it.

Have the flesh golem sprout a Gator like tail so that is rush makes sense. It could easily have a water split to it.

I was pretty baffled when I first found out that I couldn’t use my flesh golem under water. That does need to be fixed (and only have 1 elite skill that can be used underwater? What happened there?)
