Quick to the point: Great job on introducing anti-toxin via in-game characters and quest-like contents. However, I wish it was NOT available for purchase immediately for 25 skill points. My hope is that we continue to see contents, skills, items being introduced and revealed via in-game characters. It adds dimension and depth to the game as a whole. Hopefully, ascended armors can be introduced with a story-centric approach.

Longer rambling below:

First of all, I’d like the game to be more engaging story-wise so I think new lores should be built around contents and new things in game from backpacks to weapons to new toxin to new heal skills…etc. I think it’s a step in the right direction when we have Majory introducing us to anti-toxin heal skill. Yet, it could have been better if players didnt have the option to pay 25 skill points immediately. I want more of something like that instead of random updates such adding torment as a new condition or adding ascended crafting for no absolutely good reason in terms of lore-wise. Sure, we’re getting ascended weapons and accessories around the time Tequatl got stronger and such… but come on, build a little more story around that. For example: give us an in-game mail saying this or that researcher/weapsonsmith discovered new ways to make stronger weapons in order to deal with newly stronger foes…etc and here are instructions…etc.

A long the same line, I wish the footprints, the aura, and the other shiny stuffs from weapons and radiant/hellfire armors have a little more engaging story to them.

My suggestion is that when you roll out new legendaries and other quality of life stuffs, please make an effort to tie them to quests or story-oriented contents to give them meaning and depths. I want some meaning to why my characters grow stronger or look more powerful/flashier than, say, the heads of the three orders. I wish legendary and ascended weapons have some sorts of story and contents built around them. I would have felt less bored and more proud of my progress in this game if my weapons and gears weren’t so meaningless.

You wouldn’t have to think of Scarlet and her back story if you just build on what’s already here! WE don’t need a new villain… we need some meanings to our daily grind!

I agree.

I also think that the reward for the meta-achievements shouldn’t just pop up in your inventory – the Krait shard, for example, could have been handed over in a story instance.
