Shawtell? Sounds like a snitch to me, but its a name thats well to look at and even write while communicating during a dungeon run or something = 8/10

I have 2 Sylvari. Female is Brryher and male is Padraic.

Tried to use Celtic/Irish names, which both are.

Brryher – 7/10, the style is very nice and has a great ring to it. The fact that you used Celtic names is nice for my as well (I’m from Wales).
Padraic – 8/10 again the sound is nice, and the name just makes me thing of my Irish friend who calls himself “Paddy”

My Sylvari’s name:
Achaius Caoidheach, a Greatsword Ranger from the Order of Whispers

9/10 — Achaius is a really cool name, and you get props for a good Celtic name. You’d get 10 if I could pronounce the last name. XD

Mine is green in colour and male so I named him Mrgreen omann, also is an homage to the green man. It was a toss up between that n Dave

Flos Draconis:8/10, because of Draconis, which sounds too much Dragon. If it has something to do with flowers/plants then 9/10.

Mrgreen Omann:6/10, because Mrgreen fits Sylvari, but Omann sounds weird and the name is not that special.

My Sylvari is a female ranger named Nymeriali.

My 7 lvl (I have just started playing the game) Enginner is named Hyer Dandessuhn. It’s my little tribute to Primal Scream’s classic track “Higher Than The Sun”.

Edit: well that didn’t turn out as expected. hmm, replace ‘kitten’ with ‘Toad’ with a ‘ch’ in place of the ‘t’

I have San and Cassandria Everfree, Ranger and warrior respectively. Born from the same pod, one morning and the other night.

7/10 for both, I think the names are Ok! They don’t sound unusual enough for me and sylvari do not usually have second names.

My warrior is called Phaeleon (Phay-leon), after the latin name for moth orchid phaeleanopsis.

8/10. Sounds lovely! I’m a bit nitpicky with the spelling, and it reminds me a bit of Pokemon, but otherwise it has a nice smooth tone to it.

My necro is Ronwel and my elementalist is Erwaine, born of night and noon.

8/10 Nice names, Love the elementalist one I think it really fits.

My Thief is called Frysning(Swedish for Freezing). I made her colors really light blue like ice because it fits her name and because I like light blue plants.

7/10 for the Name and 10/10 for the blue colours !

Female Ranger: Summer Thyme (green skinned)
Female Mesmer: Autumn Reflection (mauve skinned, with auburn hair and orange body glow)
Female Elementalist: Winter Melancholy (blue skinned. she’s sad, but wears a brave face)

I had a Sylvari named Spring. But she died.

7/10 for all 3 – to me it sounds like the Kodan names – all zen like

I have 3 sylvari aswell, all my characters have Arcana as a surname, a tradietion from gw1 – in latin it means foreign, otherworldly or simply magic. (I tend to play casters)

Ouranos Arcana – Guardian
– Ouranos is the greek spelling in latin letters of the titan Uranus – old god of the heavens in greek mythology

Mnemos Arcana – Mesmer
– Mnemosyne is the greek godess of memory, Mnemos is a male variant.

Thanatasia Arcana – Necromancer
– Thanatos is the greek god of death – Thanatasia is the female variant.

Gakriel is ok, but don’t like “the guardian”, quite cliché.

My sylvari ranger is named Kaarna Kaisa.

7.5/10 for Kaarna Kaisa, as it rolls off the tongue and sounds quite neat.
My Sylvari is a ranger named Siccem, for two reasons. Siccem can be a play-on words for the command “Sick ’Em” and also because I thought it just sounded cool.

10/10 Very nice, Siccem “Sick ’Em” is a cool name!
My Sylvari Elementalist is named Candicans Viridis, Botanical Latin for; frosty/white, green/to sprout. But just call me Candi.

8/10. Kinda sounds like Candycanes Viridis in my head, but that also is a fun name so good score!

My sylvari ranger is named Naratha Vinewood. I was very boring with her last name

8/10 sounds fitting to a silvari but Vinewood seemed a tad boring (as you said)

hes a thief, I thought it seemed fitting.

8/10 it fits to a Sylvari, Vindictus. But pale destroys it a bit but still add a bit more of something else.

Sounds kinda Canthan-ish to me. I’m having difficulties on how to pronounce it though, I’ve got an idea but I don’t know if it sounds like Taiyang or just Taehang.

My sylvari is a female Necro called Aenyra Darkmoon.
It’s actually pronounced Anyra, the E is omitted.

Fleur Dyliss, Sylvari. Was trying to think of a plant name as that is what they are and Fleur-de-lis is french for flower of the lily. Result is what you see, Dyliss is also the lily in Welsh – seemed descriptive enough for me.

10/10 Absolutly love it! The theme is great and very fitting for a Sylvari!

The second one sounds like a human name, but it’s still pretty. 6/10

My Sylvari ranger is named Nefaryn. I was inspired a little by Arthurian names and a little by Elven nomenclature (from the Pathfinder tabletop RPG, specifically)

You still get a 7-8/10. It may not be sylvari but it camouflages into one. It sounds like an NPC I would see in the Grove : )
my warrior’s name is Arbelez, a twisted form of Arbol which means tree in Spanish. And every other twisted form was somehow taken -_-

Arbelez 7/10 sounds good just not like Sylvarii name:P unless that Sylvarii come from Spain

My name was created because of proffesion, not race. It is a good name for thief, not much related to Sylvarii tho: Certain Death

7/10 mainly because I find it funny given the current perception of Thieves.

I got 3 sylvari all 3 got irish words for names.

Oíche (means night and is my main and a ranger)
Spraoí (means fun and is a mesmer)
Paisean (means passion and is a guardian)

Najorapma (Jan Amparo) – Ranger

Basically, my name backwards… I forgot to put a space because i’m such a newb to the game -__-

Najorapma reminds me of an Mohenjo-daro archaeological site. Even it’s not quite a sylvarish name, I’ll give you 7/10 for creating a good anagram of your name.

mine is Lignasylva, a thief.

Ligna means wood, Sylva means forest, both in latins. So the name meaning would be ‘The wood of the forest’ I think.
