Amazing update....but...
takes alot of work to get a 25man through raid content. I can’t believe they thought leaving us to control 80+ people was a viable idea.
I guess but I just can’t see how its justified getting completely owned when you dc the struggle to get on your own home server….the lag….the pugs that just don’t care and want to get carried…
The leecher problem should hopefully die down after the shininess of the patch is over. The encounter is only 15 minutes. I guess we could say it’s a mini-raid. Ideally, once the spectacles are over, the only people camping there are people who are prepared for the fight. Things will be much more manageable then.
I want it to make sense right away, then another sense later. Murkiness =/= quality "

yea I’m inclined to agree with you as the general populace skill and knowledge goes up and the hype of world first dies we’ll see less guesting etc…The major frustrating part at least for me personally is that struggle to get on a main server sinking hours and hours and hours into organising with people on teamspeak etc and finallly as we are getting close and finally get on home server I have been dc’d twice throughout the fights and suddenly Im back on overflow when I try to log back in etc.
For the record I have very solid and stable intenet and an even beastly computer…its just the unavoidable lag that is bound to happen when a server is processing and clogging that much info etc…the dc’s are frustrating the kitten out of me…thats why I’d much rather SOME sort of system involving instanced combat….I’m happy and accept that people will take time to come around to the mechanics….I’m not happy that a dc thats the servers fault and not yours winds up with you being kicked off the server / overflow / home world you were JUST ON and subsequently miss out on a potential kill.
An encounter like this should have obviously been raid instanced. It’s a shame… this is the best PvE content ever put in the game, and the whole thing is soured by the implementation of it. This event is a clusterkitten.
