Nearly 4 hours trying the JP ... failed
Meh. No point in coming and saying it’s easy, even if it is much less stress than the clocktower. It’s elitism to suggest that. Maybe Anet should just make normal jump puzzles. These are nice to discover and do, but mind numbingly easy, and no fun whatsoever. I have no idea how it can take people like 5 hours to do this. Bad attitude? Maybe, but i can’t see what is happening to make you fail so much.
I can’t do it. I tried for 3 hours and I never got past the snowflake tiles. Had to quit the game before i throw my laptop to the wall. For those who think it’s easy, congratulations. I just don’t have the same hand to eye coordination you guys have. Must be nice to not suck at games.
Are you perchance using a touchpad?
Touchpads = BAD for jumping puzzles, especially the timed ones like clocktower and this one.
I pity da foo
As soon as i saw that annoying timer at the beginning i left, i will not tolerate tedious crap for anything anymore.
I ignored the Halloween event Jump puzzle because of that i’ll also ignore this one because of it too…
well i think it took me about 5 hours to do the Clock Tower… i was really bad but i persisted becasue i liked the challenge… I got this one on my first try and I was over the moooon!!! I think it was way more easier than the CK
Anet, you need to be aware of this serious fact, which you can see in so many posts in the forum already:
Whoever cannot complete this JP is being FOOLED by many others!
You really want to fool your customers?
This JP thing depends heavily on your reflex. It is like some action shooting game. Some people can make it to stage 10 easily but some can’t even make it to stage 3. And you are giving them the same activity to ask them to complete. As a general fact, young people are much better in this but the elders aren’t. However, the elders are the richer who would probably pay more and buy more gems for the game. But you are treating everyone as a young who has the reflexes of a teenage.
Sorry to hear it mate but the puzzle’s difficulty is no where near MKCT.
It’s easier

Easy for you does not mean easy for everyone.
They can time you but still let you complete the JP at your own pace. Then give you reward according to your time. In that case, if you are good at this, you would probably try it a lot more to get a better time, instead of finish it in one or two try then started to fool others in the forum because you are done.
I got it on my first try, I just never stopped. Only time I did was to wait out a snowball avalanche.
I had a good laugh from some of these posts based on “reflex” this is VERY tame compared to clocktower (took me 30 mins to master) I finished this one on my second try. A guildmate who had trouble with it took 30 minutes, but after that he and I farmed the puzzle for ~120 gifts, once you get in the groove there is no stopping you, if you refuse to learn it, leave it be since you obviously won’t put the time to learn the jumps (which clocktower HEAVILY relied on), this one is much easier. I say this because even on my fastest* run I had 2300 hp left which = 23 seconds to keep jumping/take my time, if you can’t do that, I have no sympathy for you.
Asd ANET just don’t listen to these people, they can’t do anything but complaining^^
This JP is just awesome! (well, i would have hoped for a more difficult one since i bested it in around 10 minutes but i guess it’s ok..)
I went at clocktower for 3hrs, this JP is like 100x easier, done it on my second try.
Seriously? I myself was very disappointed, this puzzle was way too easy, I made it in 2nd try and after that ive done it multiple times without failing. This is 100 times easier than the clocktower
THIS TIME IS SO EASSYYYY. Witout Video wis 1 attempt…. ITS REALLY EASY…….
With the “random oneshot” did you go flying sideways off the candy cane? If so, that’s because there is a gust of wind at the top of it. I only got hit once, but I didn’t even know to look for it before that. Just time it out like in similar puzzles.
Never had a problem with the wind. I died multiple times on the “safe” areas to avoid the snow balls (and I was well back), and once on the blue presents right at the end.
The jp was beyond easy… Seriously it couldn’t be dumbed down much more if they tried.
Gandara
As many have said:
1. Its a lot easier than clock tower, and
2. Loot you get from it is NOT exclusive, you can get it elsewhere
The JP is entirely optional. For those finding it stressful, its not the puzzle, you guys are just stressing yourselves out.
For the record I suck at JPs and will probably skip this one as well. This time though I don’t feel bad because I won’t miss out on exotic slippers. Its almost as if (gasp) anet learned from their mistakes!
The JP was a joke ..its soooo easy.. The Clocktower took me a good 20-30 attmepts to get done the 1st time. This i done within 3 tried .. The first 2 times i fell on the candy canes sticking out within the snowflake jumping section.
Once i got the jumping right on those the rest was a cake walk.
The flakes disapear way to slowly ..never even got close to me.
The presents dissapearing also were not a problem.
The Giant snowballs were pointless.
Infact the only bit that got close was my HP.
the actual design of the nevironment was nice though ..so props for that .. But the actual jumping puzzle itself was to easy.

It is easier than clock tower but still it was fun
Made it with 4th try.
Wtf? I’ve done two jumping puzzles before this one and I did it on my first try. I do have, however, also experienced that random one-shot near the end.
I think this one was harder than the Clock Tower. I know it’s crazy to say such a thing… I’m not saying harder in complexity necessarily, bu you have waaaayyy more fail points.
This one has more Jumps, Multiple traps, and 3 different paths and a Longer run time.
The clock tower was rather easy once you got past the pack at the start and then trained your eyes to stop fixating on the swirls.
Everyone has their problem areas, thinking this one is just plain easy is rather foolish though.
I mastered the Clocktower in about an hour and then mastered it on all alts (9) all races, in about 2 hours. By mastered I mean I could run it back to back to back without failing or thinking I would fail. I’ve only been able to run this one 2 times in a row without failing at some point. I don’t consider that having it mastered.
