I think she was either joking or just being touchy. Like some before me have said, I suspect she’s wearing sensible clothing which she used an illusion on to make herself look pretty.
Kasmeer’s brave, and a fighter—but she’s still a noble. I can’t see any self-respecting noble running around in the nude—even if people don’t know it. Well, except for Faren. Faren would run around naked.

I just learned from listening to dialogue that Kasmeer was naked the whole time during the Nightmare within, now my mind has been blown, I’m thinking she might be a bit perverted herself. Also I don’t think an illusionary dress would do much protection in battle. so does she go commando often? And I’m getting more dirty thoughts. ANet, why must you tease us?

Not to spoil the party, but I’m pretty sure Kasmeer was joking about being naked. She’s probably wearing real armor, but the armor’s appearance is disguised underneath an illusion, hence its appearance not changing.

Now if Kasmeer’s swimsuit back on Southsun was just an illusion… Gotta tan evenly, you know!

The scary part is it could be true. She could be Scarlet’s illusion, one of her robots, or Scarlet herself and the one we saw in tower was an illusion, robot or a robot transformed into a robot disguised as Scarlet. She’s clearly capable of anything.

If this dark theory is true would it give redemption to Scarlet’s character?

Sorry to spoil people’s hopes, but I’m quite certain Kasmeer was joking about that. :P She’s almost certainly wearing armor; it’s just that she’s disguised the armor’s appearance using an illusion (aka Transmutation Stones?), hence its appearance not changing.

They may not have the same skill in GW2, but what a mesmer can do in general terms is the same.

To put it simply, if she makes an illusion that looks like her clothes, they will work as her clothes, and even if her clothes were not enough to keep her cold, she can make herself think she isn’t cold to the point she actually isn’t cold anymore.

Mesmers. Fooling even themselves with their shenanigans.

We elementalists do not get cold, period. No tricks, no illusions. Just power.

We definitely need an elementalist NPC among these ‘new heroes’, to teach them how things are properly done. My elementalist won’t be there all the time to babysit them, and you always need an elementalist to take care of things.
