While the cinematics are lovely please for the love of Dwayna add a way to skip them.

Doing the “End of Nightmare” achis gets really annoying when you have to watch 5 minutes of cutscenes all the time.

Also the NPC conversations in the camp afterwards are brilliant and hilarious! I highly suggest everyone go hear them!

Can you give an option to skip the cutscene when you replay it? I’ve replayed it 4 times for the achievements for the battle and puzzles, and I keep having to watch the cutscenes. It gets boring quick.

It reminded me a bit of one little incident that involved a ring and some lava..

For those complaining about the cutscenes… Learn to read achivs before jumping into the dungeon instead of after. i completed both the puzzles as the fights by doing the dungeon just twice. For the watchwork knight the fight answer is easy… Just think about queen’s jubilee problem solved!

Can we get the curscene as a mini tower? You know those that finished all the living story toxic stuff?

OMG YES that was SO epic!!! I took so many screenshots of the cutscene, and EACH piece was like artwork! it’s so gorgeous! and i like how well animated / fully animated it is. As well, Kasmeer x Marjory seriously has to win character of the year award LOL. Kasmeer’s illusionary naked dress… They are seriously hilarious. Love them so much. Please we need more of them haha

Cutscene was good(I’d love an item to rewatch it anytime I want like with some other items we already have… unfortunately we don’t get these often).

But not the best. Best was Majorys evil laugh. Lol. I want to marry Majory or Kasmeer. Please make it possible at personal story lol. And add some male chars to marry too for females that like it or homosexual male players(or characters if you roleplay and only care what your char wants lol).

I was far more amused by the two Quaggans professing their love to each other. I expect to see them living together with their hatchlings in a future LS update!

The only way this cutscene could have been better is if it showed our characters slowly walking away, towards the camera, without looking back at the tower.

With the detonator in their hand as they press the button, blowing up the tower.

Is it weird that the tower collapsing felt more intense and larger in scale than Zhaitan’s death. There needs to be a revision to that fight, but that’s beating the undead horse.

Cool guys don’t watch explosions, they just walk away :P

why can’t skip cutscene when you replay story few times to get all achievement. it’s awesome cutscene..but skip is in order pls! if i watch it 4 times … it’s at least 2 times too many for not be able to skip it.

Well, ANet already spoilered it for me, as I apparently have seen the cutscene without having set foot in Kessex (the achievement was finished in my achievement panel, so I read the text in it…)

This update is great, Anet. I loved how there are changes to Kessex Hills, but the once lovely area is not toxic-green and ugly anymore.

Praise to those that made that epic cut scene, and also praise for that awesome ending puzzle and the good dialogue. I enjoyed it a lot.

Forgive my brief immaturity. I finally had the chance to watch the cutscene and the conversations afterwards. Once again ANet’s art team spiked the ball at the end zone to win, but they manage to hit it over the park for a grand slam, and recover it only to slam dunk it in another gymnasium a mile away.

This was fracking awesome! It reminded me of the art puppet style show we have in the character race intros. Plus the conversations around after all this were nice catches. Jory’s little mad cackle moment is funny. I have now been given a quaggan love story to follow later on, plus the idea of mesmers making their own clothing from illusions.

Not only is the latter interesting from a lore perspective, but now I just want to hang out with Anise even more; because of my Mesmer character….yeah that’s it. I mean if Kas can do it this shouldn’t be any trouble for Anise right?

I didn’t expect the tower event to be over so soon, but the instance was awesome and the final cutscene more than epic!

It would’ve been even more epic, if we had do fight our way back down with a timer ticking down (just for the drama and epicness).

Great cutscene! Warm feeling inside that I truly accomplished my mission. Nothing says “we win” like a giant 'splosion.

Haven’t replayed the instance yet for the achievements but I am requesting an option to skip cutscenes once seen.

I think there may have been a slightly missed opportunity… the ruins of the tower could have potentially made a nice jumping puzzle.

But yes, gorgeous finale. Loved it.

Not sure if this will be answered, but is there anyway we could also get the Scarlet recap cinematic available for replay ingame? There was that device on top of the tower that allowed us so but now that it blew away…

They’re saving that for when we kill Scarlet. They’ll make platforming over her corpse part of a jumping puzzle.

Yes, my compliments to the chef as well— this part of living story definitely had a good sense of progression and accomplishment, the cutscene was great and satisfying, and I love all the information the NPCs in the Kessex camp are dispensing.

Very nice Endscene cinematic. Love the artistic style coming to life. Also the instance was enjoyable to play.

Great cutscene. I was really hoping for a molten facility style “escape the impending doom!” sequence but I realize that takes time… and the tower is really big.

Still, satisfying arc ending.

Quaggan romance is making me want to kill myself.

But in a good way.
