Sadly the only shield using profession with skills that are worth using are warrior. Guardian has better shield skills on focus, and the less i say about engineer the better…

They don’t look that bad, I’m liking some of them. And plus, it’s a nice change from most items :P

They look alright, if yah like creey eyes I’m just sad the colour scheme is almost identical to the Guild weapons you buy with commendations. Would be nice to have more variety.

This means it will be an account bound skin, similar to fusion weapons.

I really like the shield. (I can’t use a shield but it looks awesome)

Please, not another Lockbox only set.. on second thought, these designs are awful, wow. By all means throw em in the lockboxes.

don’t be so quick to presume. Maybe it will be more like the gauntlets from Flame and Frost?

I hope these arn’t in boxes simply because I don’t want them when I open boxes.

The idea of a blinking eye animation is cool, but I don’t really like how these look. Has a very plastic/cheap vibe going on.

The Shortbow is kinda creepy though because I don’t think it blinks. It just stares. :o unless it’s just that way for me when I previewed.

I love the eye idea, but I really don’t like these. I hope they’ll be Black Lion Chest only.

I wish there WERE some new armor sets. All we have gotten since release is new weapon sets, plus an occasional random armor piece like the Fused Gauntlets. I’m good on weapons. My weapons are cool. Know what I still hate? My thief’s ugly medium armor and all the other ugly medium armor. Where’s the armor love?

Although, note, if you’re just going to make an armor set with creepy blinking eyes on it, Anet, then by all means, continue just making weapon sets. No interest in that.

The items look cool but no glowing effect cmon guys you can do better then that !!

Totally disagree. Guardian’s shield skills are good, they just aren’t self-centered like the focus is. And Engineer’s shield skills are probably two of the most nicely designed skills in the game, see “Engineer Shield appretiation thread from beta”

Sorry for the off-topic. New skins look good, will probably get some of them unless they are in a stupid box.

Well there’ll probably be a full fused set and apparently some gem store skins in future.
Wish they’d add more hide toggles though like they did to celebrate the gloves so I don’t have to worry about medium trenchcoats anymore.

They don’t really fit any of my characters that I play on, but I’m sure some will like them. I guess my necro could use the scepter.

If they’re skins they’re probably like fused weapons (they even use fused weapon icons on preview) which makes sense since living story apparently is heading to southsun (I guess with day 12th arch nemesis reveal we will learn more) and probably no lovecraft armor set if they follow fused weapon pattern (just a special equipment piece at the end of the story).

I find the alien like warhorn really cool. The shield too as it’s the
one where the eye makes more sense and doesn’t feel forced like other weapons. The mace seems like lazy work… it’s 2 perpendicular hammer heads from the same set connected in a very unatural way and hiding the theme eye in the process :S

I like some of them but I don’t think they fit my characters. Maybe some of them. If they’re like fused weapons I doubt I’m getting them anyway.

Can’t see what they all look like, since I’m at work, but the two in video don’t look too bad. Will have to remember to look later when I’m on.
God I hope they aren’t BL chest only, getting tired of those and the RNG of dungeon only chest (jetpack/mini in Molten Facility).

Hmm they look interesting. Think I might use a couple, as long as they’re not in BL chests.

Nope, eye see nothing special about these skins other than the moving eyeballs.

Here is a video previewing them if you want to see the animations on all of them and how they sit when stowed.

Another Rifle and pistol skin i don’t like wish they would add more shotgun/musket like rifle skins as that is the only thing that makes sense to me when using my rifle skills on my engi. Pistol and shield aren’t to my liking either at least i can still whack people with my wrench just wish i could keep out that gear shield just for looks wrench in left hand gear shield in right.
