Hellooo everyone,
My name is Wolfineer and I am a member of the guild Walk On [Walk]. We are a very active WvW Roaming guild on the Aurora Glade (EU) server. We aim at fighting far larger groups than ourselves as well as provide overall support to the larger allied zergers by ‘ninja capping’ or keeping the opponent busy.
We apply a tactic we like to call ‘Guerilla Warfare’. When we meet our enemy, we don’t stack up but instead scatter/spread out. By doing this the enemy can’t focus well on us as they’ll we have to run after one person which allows the others to freely deal damage to them (and get their backline). This tactic works for us because we have all been roaming for a very long time. I myself have been roaming for almost two years now. We are able to hold our own versus multiple opponents and have a perfect understanding of every profession.
I myself find it very interesting to record these fights as (most of the time) the viewer can hear us coordinate the battle well as well as see us perform rather great (imo) plays. It is also something different from the usual videos you see that involve large battles as we play it out very differently.
July 22, 2014 – [Walk] Outnumbered (Our very first roaming video. Most of us were quite new in the guild and thus our coordination wasn’t perfect. Yet the fights were rather rewarding/interesting to watch in my opinion.)
December 14, 2014 – Walk On [Walk] Reset Roaming #1 (Far more coordinated fights as we got to know eachother a lot better. These fights involve mainly around us holding north camp at a borderland map versus a much larger group of opponents)
December 18, 2014 – You can’t Spawn Camp us! (This video is a short clip of us dealing with people that sat in front of our server’s spawn. It does not feature commentary but it displays that we got a lot of coordination together even without teamspeak)
December 20, 2014 – Walk On [Walk] Reset Roaming #2 NEW (This video got released today and it features various fights where we fight outnumbered. These fights take place at various places and not just at north camp like the last reset roaming video. I am aware that there is a clicking sound in this video, I forgot to enable push to talk on my recording program. I hope this does not ruin the video for you.)
Playlist for those who want to see the videos bundled together.
I hope these videos are entertaining to you and you are able to learn something from it. The build I use will always be in the description of the video or just browse my build page. If you have any questions, feel free to ask here and I will respond to it. Criticism is also appreciated aslong as it is constructive criticism.
NOTE: we are not recruiting.
