A lot of excuses for a lack of player skill

The mistakes that we made were made before that fight even started. We were too spread out, we pulled a mob when we shouldn’t have and we weren’t paying attention. None of those mistakes were skill-based. Situational awareness and mechanical skill are two totally different things.

There is no amount of player skill that could’ve changed the outcome of that fight for our group. We were at a severe disadvantage the minute our engi got bursted and done for once our necro got bursted before we could regroup.

The only people who could’ve turned that fight around at that point were the randoms. Unfortunately none of them were on TS with us at the time.

The fact that Joe calls it a “good fight” and says “we did great” is nonsense. We barely got to do anything at all there. This leads me to believe he is either being sarcastic or intentionally dense for the sake of politeness. No one in their right mind could sincerely call that a good fight.

We didn’t get outplayed mechanically, we got ambushed. It was a good ambush but a terrible fight. The problem wasn’t improper skill rotations or wasted cooldowns or split dps, it was that our two main dps got bursted before we could regroup leaving us with only randoms who weren’t on TS. So for him to call it a good fight and say we did great is condescending nonsense.

It bothers me that we got ganked but what bothers me more is for him to talk to us like “yeah you guys did your best we were just better.” It’s an insult to my intelligence.

You and the rest of team riot are the ones that are delusional, so don’t start this stupid bs. You guys talk so much but haven’t even showed any evidence, or made your own videos of beating them. We’ll try not to, but atm its midterm week this week/next week so I’m swamped with a lot of studying/work/gym. And everyone comes on at random times so its hard to pick a time. Scarlet lives in europe so hes 9 hour time zone difference from us also.

Right now we’re trying to find an area in eotm thats appropiate for us to 5v5 with our real comp in wvw, instead of an spvp comp. An area where its kind of flat so I don’t get rubber banded by iLeap or Blink, no npc’s, no turrets, no bl buffs, decent sized area for 5v5. But so far haven’t had any luck yet from exploring around eotm.

Most definitely will follow through with the 5v5 but still not sure when yet.

We’re also in an awkward situation with timezones right now.

We’re taking this seriously though.

What? Excuses? Look at the thread closely lol. We never said we did not want a 5v5 in spvp but I find the 5v5 more credible to be held in WvW, cause thats where you died right? And you were napping right? And unprepared right? So every excuse made by you guys implied that you would have no problem beating us IN WvW during that time if all of the above excuses weren’t there.

As for inflated stats, pvp has deflated stats, can’t really argue with that, look at the celestial amulet for example.

Also rumour has it that you guys suddenly recruited high ranked tpvp players. Not that I care but I find it interesting that you aren’t bringing the 4 people that died in the video.

The point is that there needs to be a 4v4 with the same guys from the video in WvW, so it’s finally settled who’s right in this discussion since it started with both members from the video calling each other names. All the other 5v5’s can be WvW or sPvP, with anyone RIOT or tM likes to bring along, high-level tPvPer’s or not. tM doesn’t need to say who you bring to the other 5v5’s, that’s up to you guys.
Like I said just do one with the same people from the video, all the rest i don’t care about how/who/where.

Srsly though why are you guys fighting. My guild gets wiped much do we care? No lol. We only gg them if they are in the same numbers as we are (normal raid/roam is about 7 players). Re-read this entire thread; I asked multiple times to just simply pm me and we’ll play. They came back with excuses and it died there. Also; we came across 3 TM + 2 randoms (no clue if they were TM or whoever) with 1 of our tPvP teams and we won the first match, lost the second, and then 2-0’d them easily. I have screenshots on my home computer as well.

Also pretty funny how as soon as they lost they dropped tags/etc to try and hide their guild, lol. Either way none of us even run conquest on any serious level anyways, let alone have participated in tournaments, nor have ever claimed to be great at this mode. We do run a pretty good death match team though.

This whole thing is pretty entertaining nonetheless and Sanny said it best (see his post). This is just a jumbled mess of a thread and story, with a nice circccle jerk on a youtube vid and claims that apparently we ’look down’ on lower tiers (although if you look back at our previous threads we’ve always been excited/intersted any time we’re matched up against other tiers... it’s actually more a zerging mentality that looks down, not the small-man roaming groups - we could care less).

It looks like tM accomplished their mission though, but fell short in generating any outside attention that cares. They got our attention - the actual core RIOT members showed up to discuss (not just some random members they beat, including Israel who hasn’t run with a RIOT group in months not to mention isn’t even in RIOT), and then the topic died. /snore. I would have at least enjoyed some 5v5 deathmatches. Oh well, on to TESO - check out our stream for some fun beta action.

I had already discussed this with Israel and Second to God. They said that they had nobody available at the time that i asked them so I told them to give me a mail or a whisper whenever they were ready.

Still haven’t heard anything from em. Israel is keeping tabs on me as he has me on his friendlist so no excuses there.

Well Hiba’s mostly left the game, he still logs in every now and then but hardly plays and I think Sanny has been playing ESO a lot. I decided to leave RIOT after Hiba quit since there wasn’t anyone left for me to play with. I’m still down for tPvP but I’ve yet to find a new team.
